Hi lovelies, sorry I took so long to update this chapter, I was so busy, Forgive me, won't you?🙏

You may continue....

The time read 6:11pm and kedei had just left to a place I didn't border to ask where.

I moved down from where i sat, walking lazily out of the bar and into the house, not finding any reason to take my eyes off my phone thus, making myself too busy to look in front of me until I hit something__
More like someone.

I gasped, my head immediately jerking up and eyes finding Jordan's owns.

"Whoa... Easy..." His grunt of surprise breezed against my cheeks, leaving me slightly embarrassed.

"Sorry" I muttered, tossing my phone to my left hand.

A sigh escaped his lips as he took a step backward, his gaze still fixed on me. "My kind of stuffs aren't available and Tess isn't in..."  He paused, letting a frown flood his face. "So am heading out to get them."

"This night?" I almost bit my tongue from asking.
The part of Jordan spotting Tess' absence and frowning to it  greatly flooded my thoughts by the minute.

He raised a brow "yeah, any problem?"

Yeah, I wanna go with you..

"But, its so dark out there" the exaggeration was obvious in my words but still my face could do nothing but feign worry. "You might fa..."

"What's your point exactly?" He didn't let me finish "huh?"

"Can I go with you?" I tried to be audible and Surprisingly, my heart still remained in its place after my question.

"You want to?" An amused smirk played on his lips as his scanned me against my will. " Okay you'll drive then" he simply added, turning to walk away.

What?

"No, wait!" I yelled just as his words hit me, my right hand reaching up to his shoulder before i could stop it.

He stopped and turned, his gaze shifting from me to my hand which still laid on his shoulder.
I quickly took it off.

Raising his right brow, his gaze then focused on me "what?"

"Uh...." My voice began to break "I can't drive this night" I croaked "Cars and I don't get along at night."

"Why?, cars don't just like you at night?" His annoying brow cocked for the third time at me.

There was a minute of silence and after getting no response from me, he sighed, shoving his hands into his pocket."let's go I'll get someone to drive us" he said and began walking towards the bar.

I scurried behind him, confusion obvious in my features. "Where will you get someone to drive us?"

He sighed, obviously tired of me talking."Just shut up and follow me."
That really did confirm my thoughts.
I followed slowly, behind him, not wanting to ruin the evening for myself.

We entered the bar, and were now in front of a man who didn't seem aware of our presence.

His arm sprawled on the table like a primary school kid with his fingers slightly brushing against the bottle of beer that stood on the table, his head laying on their top, eyes tightly shut and mouth slightly agape, letting out soft snores, along with drops of saliva.

My gaze averted to Jordan after a long stare at the man in front of me. He chuckled, letting his hand drop heavily on the man's back, not once but twice. " Hey wake up man."

The man immediately shot his head off the table, rubbing his eyes and cleaning up the saliva that dropped from his mouth, once done, his very red eyes turned to us.
All my life, I hadn't faced such red eyes as the ones which were staring at me right now before.

"This man is gonna drive us?" I asked, letting my emphasis and disgust settle on 'drive'. "He's obviously drunk!" I was sure my face held no pleasant expression.
The man's gaze now only focused widely on me, his mouth spelling the letter 'o'.

"What?!" My voice sounded rough even to my ears causing the man to tear his gaze from me.

Am not a bad person, it was just that the man in front of me looked like he was designed to make an accident occur if he drove us in his drunk state.

"Trust me." Jordan shifted his gaze to me, tilting his head to the man's side. "I've seen him drive."

I shook my head."And I've seen him drunk." I couldn't believe I was glaring as much as I did now on a drunk man.

"We don't have a choice or do we?" Jordan's right brow barely raised above the other.

I sighed, really not sure of what to say. "Fine..." I dragged finally, earning a scoff from the red eyed man. His eyes were slowly retaining their actual colour.

He stood up from his seat and began walking out of the bar, Jordan and I followed, stopping when we had reached where his car was parked.
We got in, slamming the doors in perfect sync.

The man drove out of the compound and into the road like the professional I had always doubted he could be, only pulling over In front of a supermarket.

We got out of the car and began walking into the supermarket when I thought I felt someone poke me.

I turned to see Jordan half grinning at me "you'll drive next."
He walked past me, now getting closer to the man who walked a little too fast for the process.

"Leave me alone..." I whined, kind of smiling within and resisting the urge to give him a fierce but friendly punch on the face.
