I got back into the house after I had stopped at the house bar to help myself with a chilled glass of wine.
Yeah I was feeling bored staying in my room so I left for the bar.
"Tess!" My voiced echoed as the silence was almost deafening.
"Come on" i muttered after i got no answer from the probably empty house.
I climbed up the stairs, entering my room afterwards.
I didn't have much to do so i retired to my bed, unlocking my phone and clicking on the only game i had in it, word connect.
That's me.
I'm boring
It still made my boring self bored so i decided to get a game that wouldn't.
I climbed off my bed, grabbed my navy blue jacket, and wearing it, I strolled towards Jordan's room with my heart beating in different rhythms.
I tapped softly on the door as I tried to keep my heart steady in its place.
"Come in" I heard a familiar voice say and my hands held firm at the door handle.
JORDAN'S POV
"Come in" I muttered as I heard a faint tap on my door.
we were only three at home and with the elder girl in my room and on my bed, I definitely knew who was at the door.
Few seconds passed before my door squeaked open revealing Mia's simple structure slowly walking into my room,
The whites in her eyes shone brightly and her pupils dilated, with mouth slightly agape as she spotted Tess on my bed.
My lips twitched, and she immediately turned her gaze to me, her eyes concealing her emotions.
"So?" My voice was hoarse, but my expression normal.
"Uhh...hh I..."her eyes settled nowhere in particular as she tried to make words.
"What do you want?" I asked in a less intimidating voice but her reaction didn't get any better.
"Who's it?" Tess sat up, her eyes leaving her phone to Mia,
her jaw dropped.
"urghhhhh"she dragged, her expression laced with disgust and annoyance.
I cocked a brow at Mia, her gaze had once again returned to Tess but turned to me afterwards
" uh.. do you have games..?"
My brow raised higher.
Where for God's sake?
"In your phone?" She asked as if reading my mind and for a Moment my gaze held hers.
"Yeah, i do" I muttered turning my gaze from her to the table where my phone was.
"Can i get some to my phone?" Her right hand held her phone out.
"Sure" i grabbed my phone from the table and handed it over to her and she collected it mouthing the words "thank you".
"There are lots of games in there" I started as I watched her look down at the phone, placing it on top of hers.
" you can take it with you, your sister and i were doing something important before you came, a little too sudden." I finished, emphasizing on my last words, eager to see her reaction.
Her stare turned blank as she nodded an "okay."
"Thanks" she said afterwards, shoving the phones into the pocket of her jacket and immediately leaving the room.
Tess smiled up at me as i climbed the bed laying close to her,
She leaned closer placing her head on my chest and lifting my hand over her.
"You're cool, you know.." She said with her smile still on.
"I know" I muttered, smiling slightly.
