Chapter 12

"OW!!" A girl said falling to the ground hard. Tatsu stood over looking at her pinned to the floor, "I've fought everyone in this room Ducard...WITHOUT the moves from Batman so can I stop now?" Ducard looked at her with a smirk, "ah but Tatsu...there's still one person left to go up against," he says. Suddenly Ducard and Tatsu look at me right away. Tatsu having worry and fear in her eyes, and Ducard with suspicion and curiosity in his eyes. "Uh I'm just a spoiled rich kid who doesn't know how to fight.." I say awkwardly, hopefully making Ducard change his mind. He looked at me with a sort of death glare and just by his expression I could tell that I have no choice but to fight Tatsu. "Don't do this Matt...it's not gonna end well for ya," she whispered to me. I sighed, "don't worry I got a plan." Ducard sat down in front, "Begin." I swung at her weakly and cowardly. She dodged right away and kicked me in the gut hard, causing me to fall down. I groaned on the floor, sighing. Ducard raised an eyebrow looking at me on the floor. Tatsu picked me up and slammed me on the ground, jumping off a wall and bouncing off of my stomach landing on her feet resulting with her kicking me in the face. I grunted from the pain and laid flat on the floor with a little blood dripping from my mouth. Tatsu looked over at Ducard, "see? I don't believe yhe Batman used MY moves in his fights...plus Matthew is so damn weak." She looked over at me mouthing "sorry." He nodded and sighed, "I guess I was wrong..well now that that's over with, class dismissed." Everyone grabbed their things and headed out towards the door complaining and grunting. Tatsu had already left and I was just right behind her until Ducard called me. "Uh Mr. Wayne may I speak to you for a moment?" I sighed and gulped, walking towards him. He told me to sit down and I did, then he began to lock the door looking at me. Ducard let out a few chuckles at me and smirked, "Ah Matthew...I'm not fool. That little 'fake beat up' you did was believe to those kids...but NOT to me." I sighed and looked at him, with some fear in my eyes. "Um w-what are you talking about?" I asked. He turned around and charged at me with a sword, angrily. My eyes widen and I jump up, and bouncing off the wall landing on the seat. He put the sword away and laughed, "Nobody can ever lie to ME Matthew...especially when you don't know a THING about ME." I got down from the chair and walked up to him, not feeling a single thing in my body. "What are you talking about, Ducard?" He looked at me in the eyes, "Nothing...not like you, the Batman, would understand." He turned around and began to walk until I grabbed his shoulder turning him around facing towards me, "Tell me what the hell you're talking about Ducard," I said fiercely and anger in my voice. He snickered and shook his head. "I'd watch your mouth if I were you..do you know who I am boy?! Do you?!" He flipped me and pinned me on my arms, "Do NOT mess with me..or else you'll see the REAL me and face the consequences." I grunted while trying to get free. Soon he let me go and I got up, dusting myself off. "Tell anyone about this and you will face the consequences...Batman." I grabbed my stuff and walked out towards the door, a bit weakly. Nothing else was on my mind other than the words of Ducard.

2 days later at GCPD
"Still nothing Jim..no evidence no clues, absolutely nothing," an officer said while going up to Gordon. He shook his angrily and sighed looking at the officer once again. "Listen to me..my daughter couldn't have just 'vanished' out of nowhere. THERE is something, you're just not looking hard enough." The officer sighed and put his hand on Jim's shoulder, "look we've been investigating for awhile now Gordon...these past two days, twenty-four seven, non-stop. What else can we do?" Jim shook his head again, "No..no no I am not giving...I will not stop until I get my daughter back, do you hear me?! I will not stop!" The officer nodded his head and sighed while turning around and heading towards some other officers in the house. Jim went outside and leaned on the rail, looking out at the city. "Oh god...where are you Barbara..?" "Rough night, commissioner?" Jim heard a voice behind him. He turned around, seeing the Batman in front of him. "Where the hell have you been?! My daughter is gone and missing and I SHOULD expect you to be here to help but you haven't been here at all. Why's that, Batman?!" Jim said angrily. He sighed, "Jim I never knew about this until now..you expect me to come to your house all the time and ask for news constantly?" "Yes! You're the Batman, you are supposed to be vigilant!" Gordon sighed frustratingly, "Couple of months ago I thought I could trust you on anything Batman, what happened?" He was about to respond until police sirens were being heard behind them. Gordon turned to see multiple police cars and SWATS, "So what now-" he said turning around, noticing Batman left. He sighed and got his talkie, "get me a car ASAP now! Let me know what's going on!" Gordon ran inside and headed down stairs, running out the door.

I started driving behind the cop cars and SWATS, trying to see what was going on. "Computer, what's going on out there?" I look down and see the screen, showing Barbara tied up on the clock tower. "What the hell.." I started driving faster and eventually passed the cars until suddenly something hit my car. "What was that?!" "Back left wheel and trunk offline sir," the computer said as a screen showed a blueprint of the back of the tumbler in red. I grunted and struggled to drive and stay on the road. "Ugh!" I tried to stay still and at least stop somewhere but I couldn't since the back is in bad condition and I know something bad could happen to the civilians. "Damn is there anything in here I can use?!" I sigh and start looking for button to use. Suddenly as I was about to start pressing buttons randomly, a voice came on. "You seem stressed out buddy, need a hand?" I recognized that voice, "luke?! Where the hell have you been?!" "Trying to find a way to help you man, and I finally found a way."
"Alright Matt, if you don't mind I'll be taking control," he said. I felt the vehicle suddenly move and change. "Luke..eject me," I said. I unbuckled my seatbelt and got up. "What the hell?!" I cracked my neck and said, "Do it." He tells me okay and suddenly my seat springs me out of the vehicle. I try looking for what's attacking the police and I. Once I remember the clocktower and Barbara on it, I grapple towards in and land on it. I begin walking around until I see Barbara. "Barbara. Don't worry, I found you. You'll be okay." As I untie her, she repeatedly shakes her head. Once I untie her, she begins yelling, "No! It's a trap he's he-" Barbara doesnt get to finish once an explosion happens underneath us. We both fall down and hit hard. As I try to get up, I'm stomped on by someone. "Well hello Batman..nice to see ya again." I look up and see.."Anarky."
