Kissed

After a few weeks have passed Oliver and I have decided to get married. Almost effective immediately due to the risk his Kingdom was taking. I had sent off the five companies I promised to his land and he had kept his side of the promise to become my husband. It's only been two weeks since we've been married.

Oh, have I mentioned that we had two marriages? One in Avallon and one in Cumbeachaux. They were both beautifully arranged. Oliver's mother absolutely loved the Dutch Hydrangea flowers. His mother is very warm and keen. His father, on the other hand, does not like me nor how I rule Avallon.

They didn't care about my virtue and only because of one reason. They agreed to this marriage because of the companies I had that they didn't. Nor did the other fathers of the women who were spoken of to be wed to Oliver.

On the night of our wedding, we did not have any intercourse because we felt it was too pressured. He only kissed me on my forehead and left me in my own bed. He left to his room and respected one another boundaries.

You must be wondering where Aladar has been this entire time. He's mostly with Michael and the town's people because the kids of noblewomen are too clean and mature for him. He's 13 years old and he prefers a more active group of kids and I respect that. Lord Weylyn allows him to play with the other kids. Michael watches over him because unfortunately, I'm too busy keeping this Kingdom on its feet. And I say unfortunately because it takes time away from my son and me.

"Now you have the important role a Queen can have." Madame Lynn and I were in her chambers.

"I've always had important roles," I smiled.

"I'd like to help you with something of the utmost importance," she paused. "Babies," and smiled.

"Excuse me?" I gave her a certain look of I'm sorry, what?

"Your duty is to produce an heir and ensure the future of your line."

I didn't want to speak to her about this. "Yes, I am well aware of that. Thank you."

She walked up to me looking at my body. "You aren't pregnant, are you?"

"Madame Lynn, we haven't been married for that long."

She grabbed a bottle and as she was about to expose my chest in front of her, I grabbed her wrist. "Excuse me, Madame Lynn, but I have Aladar for the next heir in line to take the throne. If I need help with producing another heir I will come to you." I let go of her hand. "I will not stand here and let you lay a hand on me. I will not allow it." I fixed myself and left the chamber.

As I was walking to the garden I saw Oliver with the farmers. They were all laughing and having a good time.

"My Queen." The Bernards turned their attention to my direction making Oliver smile softly. I smiled at them and Oliver whispered something to them making them leave.

"What was so urgent that Madame Lynn needed you for?" He walked towards me with a grin on his face.

"She wants me to produce more heirs to ensure the future of our line."

"I've seen many women during their pregnancy and its a very hard and painful thing to do. Especially the work that comes after birth. Sure I'm talking about the care that's put into the child but for the mother as well."

"What else did she do?" He asked as we walk alone in the gardens.

"She grabbed a bottle with a yellow grainy mixture that smelled odd to rub on my chest but before she could even expose me and touch me, I stopped her."

"Is she allowed to do that?"

"I don't know, but I won't allow it."

"To be fair, only I am allowed to go anywhere near those breasts." He smiled and I smiled as I pinched him for what he said.
