Drac and the shape shifted Darkness stood on a balcony overlooking the pool below. "I'm so glad your ok." He said, putting his arms around it. It didn't seem to mind, but on the inside it was wondering how she put up with this everyday. When it looked down at its hands it saw it wasn't wearing her wedding ring on its ring finger. It tried to hide the obvious fact by covering its right hand with its left, bur Drac felt it moving and looked down, "What's wrong?" He asked. It froze, searching for a good excuse. Then it risked being exposed and whispered,

"I have to use the bathroom." Luckily for it because it sounded just like her.

"Oh," He said, backing up, "well go then." It shuffled away and down the hallway. It found a empty room and locked the door behind it. It changed back to normal and sighed,

"Ok, what's the plan?" It asked itself, pacing in a circle. "I gotta kill the light that's what!" It said, "but how?" Then it heard Atom's voice coming down the hall,

"Yo Drac have you seen Ericka?" It heard Drac's voice coming down the other side of the hall,

"Yeah, she said she had to use the bathroom."

"Yeah RIGHT," Atom said, stopping in front of the door, "sounds like she just wanted to get away from you." It heard Drac scoff and stop in front of the door,

"Name one reason why she'd not want to spend time with me."

"Well," Atom started in his know-it-all voice, "you can get aggressive when you guys make-out."

"You've never seen us make-out." Drac said.

"Uh, yes i have," Atom said, "that one time on the boat-" Drac cut him off,

"Well that doesn't count!"

"Why not?!" Atom almost screamed. This small conversation has escalated into a full-scale yelling match,

"BeCaUsE ShE LiKeD iT!" Drac yelled.

"NO sHe DiDn'T!" Atom yelled back, "sHe Was hoLdInG On To YoUr ColLaR fOr DeAr LiFe!" Drac was about to make a furious retort when Atom signaled to him to shut up.

"What is it?" He asked. Atom was looking down at his trembling hands, "I-i feel something," Atom said, "something evil."

"Do you know where this 'evil' is coming from?" Drac asked.

"I think," Atom said, looking at the door, "right behind that door." The Darkness panicked. It morphed back into Ericka and searched the room clumsily. They heard the commotion coming from inside the room and Drac jiggled the handle to find it locked. "You have the key right?" Atom asked.

"I'll check downstairs." Drac said, running stiffly down to to reception desk. He scrounged through drawers until he found the key. He ran back upstairs. On the inside of the room the Darkness had found a dictionary but it knew that wouldn't fool them so it settled on standing on the balcony overlooking the majestic mountains. When they got the door open Drac looked shocked.

"I told you." Atom snickered as they walked into the room.

"What are you doing here?" Drac asked it. It turned around to face him but didn't say a word. Then in the pale moonlight he could see it's skin was much darker and more yellow than Ericka's skin tone. His vision trailed down to it's right hand and saw Tey the spider ring was missing. "Where's your ring?" He asked sternly. It quickly mumbled an excuse,

"The Darkness took it."

"But it would of come back." He said.

"No it can't," It whispered, looking him straight in the eyes, "A ring is an inanimate object." He backed out until he was just in front of Atom.
