everyone has a soulmate. when the teenagers turn 18, they are forced to participate in the matching ceremony. the government put together all the genetic information about every human being on earth and created pairs to insure healthy and smart children for the new generations. you are required to marry and live with your soulmate, so you might as well get used to it. oh, and did i mention the government expects you to have at least 3 children with each other?
in the year 2014, two boys were matched. this was only the second time a same-sex couple had been paired since the government put this program in place. the boys were luke hemmings & michael clifford. conveniently they already knew each other before they were paired. the only problem is: they absolutely hate each other.
