"Singto, let's eat something."
I turned my head up to meet Kongpob's concerned gaze. I sighed as I turned my attention back at Krist who was in the hospital bed with numerous wires attached to his body.
"I don't have any appetite," my voice held no emotions.
I heard a sigh from Kongpob.
"Singto, Krist won't like it if you are not healthy when he opens his eyes."
My hand reached to Krist's pale face. My palms caress his cold cheeks.
"It's been almost a month, Kong. I miss him so much, his glaring eyes, his smooth voice, his loving caresses. I miss him so much," my eyes filled with tears but I held them in, I had promised myself that I will not cry again.
At least for Krist I won't cry.
Kongpob placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Singto, you are the one who held our hopes that Krist will wake up. You are our strength, Singto. If you be like this, think about us," Kongpob's voice was smooth.
"Please Singto, let's get some food into your system. You can't always stay up with your coffee."
I sighed as I got up and kissed Krist's forehead before I followed Kongpob who had a satisfied smile on his face.
We reached the hospital cafeteria and Arthit was already sitting on a table at the corner near the large window. He was on the phone with someone and I could read the irritation from his facial expression.
Kongpob took a seat beside Arthit while I sat opposite to them.
"We don't have any other options right? We'll come."
Arthit said to the person at the other end of the phone before he hung up. He let out a sigh as he placed his phone on the table.
"Who was on the phone Arthit?" Kongpob asked.
Arthit looked at me for a second before he looked down on his hands.
"It's from the police station. They want us to sign some papers about the case. You know the last hearing of the case will be tomorrow. We have to go to the prison visiting office. Dad will be also there, he also has to sign some papers," Arthit explained.
"Should I come?" I asked hesitantly. I don't want to see that man's face. Not after what he has done to Krist. Even though its partially because of me, if I hadn't allowed Krist to block me he wouldn't be in the hospital bed.
Arthit took a deep breath.
"You have to come. Since you are also an heir of AKF enterprise and you are also the lower of Krist since Dad has shot him, there is a charge for that too. Your signature is important."
I nodded my head and turned my head towards the window. My gaze on the busy streets of the city.
My thoughts drifted to Krist again.
When I held Krist's conscious body in my arms that day at the dark Mr.Perawat had shot him I lost my consciousness too.
When I opened my eyes, I was in the hospital bed. My injuries have been treated and I had bandages on my head and arms.
I was asleep for three days straight because of exhaustion and lack of food in my system.
The first thought that came to my mind when I opened my eyes was Krist. I had insisted and made a scene to meet Krist but Arthit and Liz told me I couldn't since he's in the ICU and also because I have to recover first.
