"So, will I like this Padawan of yours?" I ask.

"I think you will," Master Jinn says, "You are both very similar."

"Is he at least human?" I ask jokingly.

"Don't be racist, Kavra," Qui-Gon scolds.

"I was kidding!"

We walk up to the ship and I hop off my trusty, yet very smelly, steed. A young Jedi jogs out of the ship and I raise my eyebrows. He's very handsome, even for a human, his bright blue eyes are what catch my attention, they're full of a fire that intrigues me. His short brown hair fits him well and he has a Padawan braid that I just want to Force tug on. It was an old joke between my brother and me when we were Padawans.

"Hello," I smile at him, "I'm Kavra Aspare."

"Obi-Wan Kenobi," he nods at me, shaking my hand.

Our hands touch and I tense, a jolt of electricity shooting up my hand. My heartbeat quickens and I stare at Obi-Wan with a confused glance. When I look into his eyes, it seems as though we're the only two people in the entire universe. What are these feelings I'm having?

Qui-Gon clears his throat and Obi-Wan and I jump away from each other, sheepishly looking at our Master.

"I'm going back, some unfinished business," he says, "But I won't be long, so don't get too comfortable."

"Yes Master," I say, "We'll have the hyperdrive installed by the time you get back."

Qui-Gon turns and leaves. Obi-Wan glances over at me and I smile at him. We start to drag the hyperdrive onto the ship and I use the Force to give it one last push up the steps. We pull it over the where it needs to go and I take off my jacket, leaving me in just a tank top. I start to work on the ship and catch Obi-Wan watching me.

"So where are you from?" I ask.

"Stewjon," he replies, fiddling with a screwdriver, "And you? You certainly don't look like someone who is from here."

"I'm from Naboo," I respond, "But I've lived in Coruscant most of my life."

"And you were Master Jinn's Padawan?"

"Yes," I nod, "I trained with him from the time I was seven to when I was sixteen."

"And how old are you know?"

"Twenty-three," I answer.

I do the finishing touches on the hyperdrive and nod, proud of my work.

"We should be good to go," I say, going to stand up.

Obi-Wan reaches out a hand and I take it. He pulls me up and I stumble, grabbing onto him for support. My hands are on his chest and I feel his hands on either side of my lower back to stabilize me. I look up at him and feel a slight blush creep onto my cheeks.

"You're very beautiful," Obi-Wan says, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"Thank you," my cheeks heat up even more, "We should, um, go and see if Qui-Gon and Anakin are back yet."

"Yes," Obi-Wan says, clearing his throat.

"Kavra!" I hear Anakin call, panic in his voice.

"Anakin, what is it?" I ask, kneeling down in front of him.

"Master Qui-Gon is in trouble!" he cries, "There's a scary red man out there!"

"Go, tell them to take off!" I call to Obi-Wan, jumping out of the ship.

I run to my Master and pull my lightsaber, I attack the man from behind and he turns to face me, sneering at me.

"Finally, the pretty one joins us!"

I attack him and we deflect each other's blows. He punches me in the face and I jump back, holding my nose, blood spurting everywhere.

"Go, Master!" I yell over my shoulder.

"Kavra, don't-"

I Force push him back into the ship and turn to the Sith standing in front of me. He chuckles and lunges at me, it takes all my strength not to buckle under his attacks, but I push back. He gets a lucky shot and I let out a scream as his lightsaber grazes my arm, leaving a nasty gash on it. I hear the ship flying over the top of us and I use the Force to create a small sandstorm, sending it at the Sith. I jump onto the ramp and collapse on the floor of the ship's cargo bay.

"Are you alright?" Anakin cries out, running to me.

I hold onto my arm and look up to see Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon run over to me. Obi-Wan kneels next to me and puts a hand on my back, helping me sit up.

"That was extremely reckless, Kavra!" Qui-Gon yells at me, "You could've been killed!"

I groan in pain as I stand up, trying to ignore the blood running down my arm, "But I'm fine, Master, I promise."

"You are not fine," Obi-Wan says, giving me a worried glance, "We need to get you patched up."

We begin to walk to somewhere that I can be stitched up, but I stumble and almost fall. Obi-Wan grabs me and lifts me up into his arms, holding me close to him. He carries me to a room where I can lay down and he sets me on the bed.

"That was very reckless," he says, rummaging through a cabinet.

"What else was I supposed to do?" I ask.

"Stay on the ship and let Master Jinn take care of whatever that thing was."

"It's a Sith," I say, wincing as Obi-Wan wipes my arm with alcohol, "I don't know how or why there's one here, but if there's one, that means there's another."

He begins to stitch up my arm and I wince, whimpering lightly.

"I know it hurts, I'm sorry," Obi-Wan apologizes.

Once he's finished, he grabs a blanket from a chair and wraps it around my shoulders. I lay back and rest my head against the wall.

"You should rest," Obi-Wan says, "We'll be in Coruscant soon."

I feel my eyes begin to get heavy and I nod. I start to drift off to sleep, but before I do, I feel a hand grab mine and squeeze.
