"Kavra, wake up! We're here!" Anakin's excited voice breaks through my dreamless sleep.

"Anakin, leave her alone!" Obi-Wan's voice retorts.

I open my eyes to see both boys glaring at each other, I sit up and shake my head at their antics. They both notice I'm awake and Obi-Wan is at my side in a second. Even though I just met him not two days ago, I feel this connection to him. He's special, I can tell. He helps me stand and I lean on him for support.

"Come on!" Anakin runs in front of us.

We step out into the sun and I sigh, taking in the familiar sounds, smells, and sights of home.

"Oh, it's good to be home," I smile.

We follow everyone across the landing platform to see the Chancellor Valorum and Senator Palpatine waiting for us. We all bow to them and I wince as my arm begins to hurt again.

"We must speak to the Jedi council at once," Qui-Gon tells the Chancellor, "Some things have arisen that must be addressed immediately."

Anakin turns and watches us, I smile warmly at him and motion for him to follow Padme and the rest of the handmaids. I turn and follow Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon off the land platform to a small, open-top ship. Qui-Gon drives and I lean back in my seat, I look around the city, taking in all of the new areas that have been built. We fly up to the Jedi Temple and I hop out of the ship, as soon as my feet touch the ground I take count of all the Force auras within the temple. I feel my brother's in one of the Meditation chambers and smile widely.

"Master, may I please go and find my brother?" I ask.

"Yes, Kavra, Obi-Wan and I can take care of briefing the council."

"Thank you!" I call, running into the temple.

I easily remember all the routes throughout the temple and quickly find where my brother is. I knock on the door and hear a groan. The door swings open and my brother stares at me in amazement.

"Kavra?"

"Hello, Cal," I grin, pulling him into a hug.

"It's been so long!" he says, embracing me.

We pull away from one another and I inspect my younger brother. He looks so much stronger and older now. It's been three years since I last saw him and I've missed him more than I thought. I step into the meditation room and my brother smiles at me.

"You seem to be in a good mood," he says.

"I'm home," I respond.

"There's something else. . . ." Callister trails off, "There's someone in your mind."

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"You've formed an attachment!" my brother snaps at me, "I sense it is with that failure, Kenobi."

"He is no failure!" I defend.

"Obviously you didn't hear about him almost flunking out of the Order than!" my brother laughs, "He was a stupid, insolent child and it almost cost him, but your Master took him in as a pity case."

"I'm not listening to this anymore, Cal," I say, "If you must be this thick-headed to think that someone cannot change after correct training, then obviously you have changed from the brother I once knew."

"If you continue down this road, sister, I will have no choice but to turn you into the council."

"Go ahead, I have nothing to hide," I say, walking out and slamming the door behind me.

I stalk through the halls of the temple, trying to make my way back to my apartment. My mind is racing with many thoughts. Why has my brother changed so much? What has happened in the three years I was gone? I'm so focused on my thoughts that I run into something, or more like, someone. I go to fall back, but a strong pair of arms catch me.

"You should be more careful of where you are going," a deeply accented voice says.

I look up to see those familiar blue eyes watching me. I step back and nod at Obi-Wan.

"Sorry, I was so focused on my thoughts that I didn't see you."

"It's quite alright," he chuckles, "I was actually looking for you, wanted to see if you'd like to come to have dinner with me?"

I pause, thinking about what my brother said. But really, what the harm in spending time with a friend?

"I'd really like that."
