I had not seen Ariana before going home. She hadn't texted me back either. I won't lie and say I wasn't panicking. I figured she was still asleep; after all it was still 8:15am. She had only gone to bed 3 hours before.

I got changed and quickly made my way to the staff exit. The vans were pulling up out front of the hotel again on standby. I smiled at the thought of Ariana. That girl was definitely something else.

I could not believe that yesterday evening happened. How quickly things had developed. Years of unsuccessful flirting and failed relationships and in one night I managed to get a worldwide superstar's number without me even asking.

It was too good to be true.

I waited for my train to come and started to feel the tiredness hit me. It was about time I went to bed. My music was blasting into my ears. I got my phone out and quickly searched Ariana's name on my Spotify. "Thinking About You" was already in my favorites so I pressed on play.

Her voice just took over my senses and I realised how much I had missed her voice already.

I wonder what it would feel like if one of these songs might be about me. Obviously none of the recent ones were. This song was just so fitting about how I felt right now, I could have easily just sung that song to Ariana. I laughed to myself, sing to Ariana...I would probably make that poor girl's ears bleed without even trying.

It was good to be back home again, although I wish I had the company of a certain brunette. I checked my phone and still no text message. I shrugged it off and decided to get some sleep.

Suddenly my phone buzzed, alerting me of a text message. I rushed to it, a bit too eagerly, and my smile fell flat when I saw the text. It was only Sarah.

 It was only Sarah

Ah, why not. It would also give me an excuse to wait for a text message from Ariana.

I started my game console and put my headset and mic on. The invitation to the group chat was almost instant.

"You walking corpse." Sarah teased as that was the first greeting I heard from her.

"That pretty much accurately describes how I feel right now." I felt tired but weirdly enough still had the energy to function.

"You're a crazy bitch for getting on. It was not me demanding you to get online just for the record."

"It's fine, I need to get my mind off of work before I got to bed." I added.

"Tough night? Did you find out why there was a lot of people at your hotel." She asked.

"It was nothing just a big event with a lot of people." I bit my lip, I was not a very good liar.

"Bitch. I'm. Your. Best. Friend. Stop. Lying. You would be more pissed off than that if it had been a big event going on all night. Now, what was all that fuss about?" She insisted. This girl was stubborn and a walking lie detector.
