The sun piercing through the curtains was hurting my eyes as I struggled to open even one of them. The blanket was hanging from the end of the bed, revealing a petite figure right next to me.

I smiled at Ariana, who was peacefully still sleeping and spooned right into me. I was also surprised that the sun hitting our faces hadn't woken her up. Then again, she had cried a lot and must have been really tired.

Wrapping my arms tighter around her as I kissed her shoulder that was exposed right in front of me, I couldn't help but notice that she smelled of a mix of vanilla and strawberry and I didn't know how this girl could be sleeping and looked like a Goddess.

Maybe I was just biased.

I ran my fingers against her exposed skin. Ariana had told me she felt more at ease sleeping topless generally and with shorts, and despite it making me furiously blush, who was I to deny her that. It was a good advantage for me too.

Goose bumps formed on her skin at the contact of my fingers on her. The sun was hitting right against her skin and I could see every tiny details of her smooth skin. I admired her tattoos also covering her arm and neck. I couldn't wait to learn of every story behind each one of them, I thought to myself as I got lost admiring the traits of her body.

"I can feel you staring." I heard her speak out, softly, yet still groggy, having clearly just woken up.

"I can't help it. I don't know what you do to be so perfect. I always wake up looking like a train wreck." I said to her laughing as I went back to wrapping my arms around her bare stomach.

She momentarily parted away from me to reach out for a t-shirt that was sitting on the side of her bed table, wanting to cover herself up.

"Trust me, I'm far from being perfect." She simply said facing away from me, as she pulled the t-shirt down.

I thought I had said something wrong, and couldn't help but frown at her breaking away from me, thinking she was ready to get out of bed. She turned around and saw this and quickly realized that I had interpreted it wrong.

"Babe, I didn't mean it in a bad way. I'm just saying; what makes people perfect are their imperfections." She smiled as she laid back down. She turned around to face me and removed a strand of hair that was loosely hanging on the side of my face as she held my gaze.

Her touch was seriously like good jolts of electricity, I instantly felt better or warm any time she would touch me.

"I want to give you something." She said softly. I don't know what I was expecting but I was starting to feel nervous. I was always reacting awkwardly anytime people would give me gifts or would compliment me, it was just something I did not know how to deal with.

She sat up and got out of bed this time. My eyebrow raised up in confusion as she was heading through the archway and into the living room. I watched her look through her bag, which was placed on the couch.

Once she found what she wanted, she hurried back to the bedroom, very excitedly. I smiled at her childlike excitement as she jumped on the bed.

"It's nothing big, but I wanted you to be the first one to see it." She said handing me a quite rushed wrapped squared shape item. She must have wrapped it herself.

I took the gift from her and proceeded into unwrapping the item. My heart was still accelerating very fast.

It was a CD cover, with Ariana's picture on it, she had silver white hair on the cover and was upside down. I quickly understood that this was probably an early visual of the album she was meant to release soon.
