Christmas Eve

It's Christmas Eve...

I was preparing cookies for tomorrow. I was standing in the kitchen, feeling little dizzy. I always pushed off the dizziness. I shook my head.

Aph: crap...

I fell to the floor.

Aph: ugh... Aaron. No.

I stand up. I was shaking like crazy.

Aph: ah.

I took a seat. Aaron came down the stairs.

Aar: you okay? I thought you called me. Bab!

He runs to me.

Aar: are you okay?
Aph: my head is spinning.
Aar: do you want to take you to the room?
Aph: no no- no I'm okay. I just need to take breaks.
Aar: are you sure? I can take over baking.
Aph: no Bab

I stand up and immediately fell.

Aar: honey. Please rest for a bit. I know you couldn't sleep last night.
Aph: fine

Aaron picks me up and brings me to the couch.

Aar: Ein! Watch the cookies please!
Ein: oh! Sure just give me a minute!
Aar: okay thank you.

He walks in the bathroom. I hear the fossett. He returns and places a washcloth.

Aph: thanks.
Aar: rest here my babe.

He walks away and goes into the kitchen. I hear the fridge open. He turns again. He hands me a pepsi.

Aar: I have feeling you wanted one.
Aph: you know me so well.
Aar: yeah, no probably hun. I'll check the cookies.
Aph: I put them in the oven about 2 mins before I put them in.
Aar: I'm still gonna check on them.

He kisses my forehead.

Aph: I'm sorry for almost fainting again.
Aar: don't be honey.

He left the room and check the cookies. He returns with a water for himself.

Aar: do you mind if I sit next to you?
Aph: of course not. Besides. I wanna cuddle up to you.
Aar: heh alright.

He sits down nexts to me. I cuddle up next to him.

Aph: your warm...

3 hours later.

I was back in the kitchen finishing make cookies. I wanted to make my chocolate cake but I don't have enough eggs to do so.

Aph: Ein! Can you come here!

Ein comes out of the living room.

Ein: what's up?
Aph: I wanna make my special cake for tomorrow.
Ein: oh! What do you need?
Aph: I need more eggs. I used all of them.
Ein: oh okay! Is that all you need?
Aph: yes. If not I text you.
Ein: okay!

Ein runs out of the house.

Aar: where is he going?
Aph: to get some eggs for me.
Aar: and I thought you guys can't have chocolate.

He gave me a smile.

Aph: it's a special cake. Like the special hot chocolate. It's just this needs quiet a bit of eggs
Aar: how many?

I give a little nervous laugh

Aph: takes about 7 eggs.
Aar: damn.
Aph: I know it's a lot of eggs. I know. But the cake I do, and that I make use a lot of egg. I got to make everything myself. I can't buy it.
Aar: ohh. So that's why you need a lot of eggs.
Aph: yeah.
Aar: need any help?
Aph: no I'll be okay.
Aar: just call me if you need anything okay?
Aph: will do!

Aaron leaves. About 3 mins later Ein brusted through the door.

Ein: I GOT THE EGGS
Aph: no need to yell boi!
Ein: sorry. I literally fought this man for eggs.

I stand there looking at him.

Aph: I'm sorry? What did you say?
Ein: I fought man for eggs.
Aph: you fought a man for eggs..
Ein: yeah. I bought you two boxes.
Aph: ...okay...

He hands me the eggs.

Ein: enjoy! 

He walks away.

Aph: well okay.

I ended having more eggs than needed and I made to cakes. One for to eat now, one for tomorrow. After baking all day, I made pizza for dinner.

Aph: dinner's ready!

Aaron and Ein come out of the living room and sit down at the table. I place the pizza on the table.

Aph: eat up!

We eat the pizza and the cake. We clean up and head into the living room.

Aph: what do think of the cake?
Aar: it was wonderful!
Ein: Aphmau are we keeping our tradition?
Aph: oh? Aaron would you like to be in our tradition?
Aar: what is that?
Aph: we open one gift the smallest before Christmas morning.
Aar: sure!

Ein grabs smallest presents.

Ein: here you go.

Hands me the present. Then to Aaron. After that he sits down.

Ein: can I open it first?
Aph: sure!

He opens it.

Ein: yes thank you Aphmau for the subway gift card.
Aph: yeah no problem.
Ein: you can open yours next Aphmau.
Aph: okay.

I open my gift. Inside was a necklace, a sparkley purple amethyst.

Aph: oh my Irene. This is from both of you? How- this is so pretty. Thank you.
Aar: no problem Bab.
Aph: go ahead open your gift.

Aaron opens the gift. He smiles. It was a picture of the 3 of us.

Aph: you like it?
Aar: I love it.

He gets up and hugs me.

For the rest of the night we watched Christmas movies...
