A/N: This poem won me a (virtual) silver trophy in a contest a long time ago.

Oh come, ye, the cold, and blizzard winds, blow!

Oh fall, ye, the frost, bring glorious snow!

With glittering diamonds of ice crystals, bright,

Come dazzle and shine in this mortal's sight.

Come blanket the Earth in raiment of white,

And let Nature rest till her time is right,

In peaceful repose, 'neath the glorious snow,

Oh come, ye, the cold, and blizzard winds, blow!
