SKYLAR POV
Skylar, you can't keep ignoring what's going on. You need to let this happen.
Y-you could've killed him! I didn't want that happening!
He invaded your personal space and disrespected you, Skylar! What else was I supposed to do, just let it happen?
You should've left it alone! Lukas is probably pissed with me—
As the door swung open, the blurry image in the mirror faded away. My heart started to pound in my chest along with the flutter of butterflies in my stomach.
What if kicks me out? Then I'll have nowhere to go.
"Skylar, can we talk?" Hesitantly nodding my head, he closed the door behind him then sat on the edge of the bed.
"What happened in there?" I tensed up, gnawing on my lip nervously.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about." He sighed then turned a little bit, so that he was now facing me completely.
"Skylar, you can talk to me, alright? Now, what happened in there?" My breathing slowly accelerated and I didn't know how to answer that question. Every time a conversation like this was brought up, I got sent away.
Don't tell him, he's probably like everyone else who didn't care about you.
No he isn't. He does care... I can feel it.
"I don't think I'm ready to talk about it, Lukas. At least n-not right now." He simply nodded his head.
"Completely understandable. I won't force you or anything like that."
"Okay, can I have something to eat now?" Lukas chuckled, nodding his head.
"Are bacon and eggs good enough for you?" I bit back a grin and happily nodded my head. He extended his hand and I placed mine in his, allowing him to help me up and walk to the kitchen.
"C-can I look around the house for a minute?"
"Yeah, go right ahead. Don't break anything," he teased, smirking.
I hopped onto my feet and began my tour around the house. I ended up in Daniellas room when I noticed all of the pictures of her and who I'm guessing is her mate. They were really cute together and it kind of made me jealous.
Not knowing if Lukas would actually accept me in the future, made my stomach churn. Shrugging it off, I walked into the master bathroom, and I officially realized why it got this name. You could have a masquerade ball in here. The tub was almost like a large sized jacuzzi with a humongous shower with glass doors.
Both sides of the sink had a gold and black marble tile and it was gorgeous. I always had an obsession with these two mixtures. My room was that color when I was younger — at least that's what I was told.
I flipped the light switch, the bathroom now going dark then walked into what seems like a game room. There was a pool table, air hockey table, and what I think was foosball. A large cabinet caught my attention, so I slowly walked over to it, swinging the doors open.
