Even though Tay was expecting a negative reaction from Jenna, nothing could prepare her for the cold, cynical response she had recieved. Tay found herself choking back tears. She stared down at the ground and, taking a deep breath, began to talk, using all her concentration to keep her voice steady.

'Look, Jen. I... I really don't know what went down between us over the past couple of months but... I just really feel fucking shit about everything that happened and i just want things to be normal again, you know, back then, when we were really close and we like talked and stuff.'

Tay was internally screaming at herself for the shitty conversation opening. After a few seconds of silence Tay looked up. The blonde was shaking her head slightly and had a small, bitter smile on her face.

'You actually think that things can be normal again after what you done to me, Taylor?'

Tay flinched at Jenna using her full name.

'Jenna, I don't know what made you so mad at me, but whatever it is, I'm sorry. But any time I try to ask you, you just ignore me. For the past four months i have been trying to get in contact with you but you never answer my calls or reply to my texts. I'm trying my hardest to fix things but i can't when i don't even know what i have to apologise for.'

'I don't need you to apologise. I needed you to be there when i needed you most.' replied Jenna coldly.

Tay sighed and tried again.

'Look, Jen. I know you're hurt and upset at whatever the fuck I done, but please just tell me what it is so I can do some damage control.'

' You've already done enough, Taylor.'

'JUST TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK I DONE WRONG, MCDOUGALL!' screamed Tay, fianlly losing her temper.

' I'll tell you what you done wrong you little bitch!  Remember Teens Choice? Yeah, of course you do, your band won a fucking award! While I was back at that shitty hotel room waiting for you, I recieved a message from my mother saying that my gran just died! I found out one of my favourite people in the world just passed away through a fucking text message! You were the first one I texted because i thought you were my freind and that you would actually have the decency to skip the after party to fucking be with me! But guess what! No fucking reply, and you know why? Because you were too busy getting shit faced. And you know what the most fucked up part is? You SAW my text, you knew my gran had just died, yet you just fucking turned your phone off and continued partying as if nothing fucking happened because you didn't want to miss out on all the fun. I was alone, in that hotel room, for the whole fucking night. I couldn't even call up my parents! And you expect me to forgive you?'

' Why didn't you call me the next day, Jen. I would have been there for you, I wouldn't have let you go through this alone?' Tay whispered, not bothering to hide the tears of shame and sadness that were dripping down her face.

Jenna's eyes too, were overflowing with tears. Her voice was seeping with sadness and hurt.

' Because then i knew, that you have never cared about me, all i was was your little puppet to play with when you got bored. I was drowning and you never came to save me, even though you had the chance. I was always on the frontline anytime you screwed up or needed comforting. Because you were my best freind, and you were one of the most important people in my life. Now all you care about is fame.'

Tay felt physically sick. That wasn't true, how could Jenna even think that? How could she ever make Jenna think that? Oh god, it was all her fault, she had to make this right. Screw the tour, Jenna was more important.

' Jen, I'm so sorry'  Tay sobbed, putting her face in her hands. ' I screwed up and I'm so sorry, It's all my fault. It's my fault that this ever happened, I'm going to fix this. I promise I will fix this. But please Jen, don't leave me. Don't fucking give up on me. I love you, your like my sister. I promise I will be there for you from now on. I've been a lousy freind but please, don't push me away'

Tay took a step towards Jenna, but she backed away, tears openly dripping down her face.

' I'm sorry Tay, but it's too late. You can't fix this. I have to go.'

No, she couldn't let Jenna just walk off like that. 'Jenna, please don't go.' begged Tay, staggering after the blonde who was making her way back into the building, grabbing hold of her wrist. ' You can't go' Tay whispered.

' Tay, please let go of me' Said Jenna, her voice cracking. ' There's nothing you can do to make this better. I can't rely on you anymore, and you have to stop relying on me.'

Jenna slowly unclasped Tay's fingers from her wrist and stared into Tay's eyes, taking in the beautiful brown colours for the last time.

' I'm so sorry, Taylor.' Jenna whispered, as she turned away and made her way back into the club, leaving Tay standing alone, with the rain soaking through her clothes.
