As soon as Jenna had turned her back towards Tay, she instantly regretted everything she said to Tay. She was not a bad freind, she wasn't self invovled, she didn't only care about her band and being famous. Jenna had only said those things in the heat of the moment. Alhough Jenna was still really upset and hurt at Tay's absence when she had her darkest moment, she couldn't forget all the other times that she was there for her, and wouldn't leave her side until she was sure Jenna felt better. It was in those moments that Jenna remembered by she called Tay her best freind. God, she wanted to turn around so badly but she couldn't.

Jenna quickly wiped the tear tracks off her face and took a few minutes to compose herself before she let anybody see her. As soon as her foot touched the stage, she was surrounded by her band members.
'Hey, are you Ok, Jen? You looked as if you were about to faint.' asked Whak, his eyebrows knitted together in concern.

She couldn't do it. She couldn't tell them what had just happened. She was having enough trouble believing it herself. Jenna forced a fake smile on her face and replied; ' I'm Ok, Whak. I just needed some air. I'm ready to go onstage if you guys are.'

Her act didn't seem to persuade the guys as they cast each other worried looks.

'Are you sure you're Ok?' Matt began. ' Because if it's that thing with your skin again, then we can always just cancel and tell the fans-'
'No Matt! Just fucking leave me be! Im fine, now lets just get this shit over and done with,' snapped Jenna.

Matt's eyes had a flicker of hurt in them as he took his seat behind the drum set. The other guys quickly took position, avoiding eye contact with Jenna. She felt bad for snapping at Matt and the others. They were just worried for her and didn't want her to be any pain but sometimes it got annoying being asked how she was feeling and if they should cancel the show almost every time they played.

As the intro music began to play in the background, Jenna turned towards Matt, facing away from the stage and gave him a small, guilty smile and mouthed 'sorry' to him. Matt shook his head in reply and stuck his tongue out at her playfully, his way of saying 'apology accepted'. He then struck his began beating his cymbol, building up the sound until he struck his snare, and began to play 'The Edge' as Whak, Cam and Jake simultaneously joined in on their guitars. The curtains flew down and a cascade of lights flew around the stage as Jenna began to dance in time to the music, feeling a rush of adrenaline as she heard the crowd scream in excitement.

She was now on autopilot. Everything, all the emotion, all the pain she had been through had turned into raw energy. She jumped and twisted and spun as she powered through the setlist with an indescribable hunger, not even pausing for a drink, urging her band members to hurry up anytime they paused inbetween songs. Her forehead was already dripping with sweat at the half way mark but she didn't care. Jenna was savouring every moment. She had never felt this way before. All the hardships and heartbreaks she had experienced in this short time had broken her emotionally. She felt numb as she dominated the stage. All there was her and the music, nothing else mattered. Even her eczema had decided to give her a break.

Jenna wished she could stay like this forever, but her feelings would creep up on her at some point, and when they did, they would destroy her.

* I know that the past couple of chapters may have disapointed some hardcore Jardougall shippers but whats love without a little war? (See that All Time Low  refference? :D ) ANYWAY, i have actually sat down with a pen and paper and have brainstormed about how to carry on with this story and after a few hours I can now safeley say I'm sticking to what I think is a very good and interesting plot line. This fic will be approx 30-40 chapters long if I stick to the plan ( which i proabably won't) and hopefully i will impress. THANKYOU FOR READING! XOX*
