Raehee POV:
I had come back from washing off the coffee as best as I could although it was pretty noticeable. I walked down the hallways listening to my feet echoing on the floors. Finally, I was back outside the Coucilling room. I could hear Nayla speaking to someone, probably on the phone since it sounded like only she was talking. I know it's wrong to eavesdrop but I didn't want to interrupt whoever she was chatting too. I couldn't pick up on a lot of it.
"Ah yes...plan...they should be there," were the only words I could pick up on since her voice was muffled.
I knocked on the door and peeped my head through the door, with her leaning against the wall quickly ending her call.
"Hey, everything okay?" I questioned while smiling at her."Of course. Why wouldn't it be?" Nayla said. She put her phone down slowly on her desk and sat back down. She adjusted the collar of her shirt and fidgeted with her buttons.
"Ah before I forget. I got you something as little going away present and thanks even though we'll probably see each other in the corridors. It's just a book I thought would remind me of you when you read it." I spoke as I handed the thick papered book titled 'DELERIUM' in a bold font from my bag.
"Oh, you didn't have to but thank you. I'll give this a read.' She said while inspecting the book's front and back. I looked at the time and realised I should be getting home.
"I should get going, I hope to see you around." I began to stand up, zip up my bag and swing it onto my shoulders.
"Oh alright, get home safe," Nayla said smiling like a mother to her kid. She got up and wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug. I responded with those same arms and took my leave.
3rd Person POV (Author)
Nayla hugged her tightly and slipped Raehee's phone from her pocket into hers. Her mind sighed with relief knowing she had gotten away with her crime.
You must be wondering what's happening. You must be wondering why I'm suddenly breaking 4th wall? Who is Nayla? What has she got to do with contacting Soomi?
I'll tell you a secret. Nayla isn't to be trusted. But you've probably figured that out by now...
But maybe you need more clarity.
It was during the week after Jimin had encountered Kang Soomi. You remember her right? Jimin's ex-lovers Haeun, her little sister was Soomi. She went for revenge to hurt Jimin but things backfired. Soomi swore to revenge:
"But I'll be back, not just to kill you but to kill everyone you love. And I won't be alone next time."-(Part 29-Caught in a lie.)
Soomi swore vengence for her sister Haeun who she lost. That's when she turned to Nayla. Or better known as Kang Nayla.
~Flashback~
"Nayla, I need your help. I know it's a lot to ask but for family's sake could you help me." Soomi said out of breath.
"Soomi? How are you even calling me!? You can't use phones in the asylum!" Nayla exclaimed her voice toned in surprise and shock.
"I escaped the Asylum."
