A therian is someone who identifies as an earthly animal that exists or doesn't exist anymore (went extinct) and believe they have the soul and or mind of this animal do not confuse this with Otherkin
An Otherkin is someone who identifies as a mythical animal and believes they have the soul and or mind of that animal
Spiritual therian - meaning they believe it's a past life and their soul has been reincarnated into a human body
Phycological therian - meaning it wasn't a past life but has the mind set of that animal
Same goes for Otherkin too.
There's also fictionkin too which falls under the Otherkin category
Fictionkin meaning - identifying as a fictional character
Wolfaboos - now, you have to watch out for this one, they are people who think wolves are all mighty and they generally have the wrong idea about wolves and make them seem more powerful and what not. Examples — "oH I WAs ThE aLPhAs SoN aNd I hAvE a BatTlE sCaR On May EyE fRoM a PaCk FeUd!!!!" "mY wOlF wAs RaInbOw AnD hAd EmO hAiR AnD cOuLd FlY AnD wAs ThE GrEatEst!!!!!" Or the best one yet "My WoLf iS PURE bLaCk wItH BlUe EyEs!!!! Or MY wOlf iS AlBino wItH a PiNk nOse!!!"
No, you are most likely a wolfaboo or a wolf dog, because pure black wolves don't exist and neither do albino wolves Like Mm no honey just stop.
