Devil's Guardian: An Alastor and Lucifer Tale

Amazing Grace, How Sweet~

                          For a time things were peaceful within the Hotel after the two had finally come to terms with their feelings and desires, it wasn't hard to hide it from others while the Devil had returned to help the Hotel and Alastor focused on his task of helping Charlie with redeeming the residents.  Alastor would find his attention upon Elizabeth, the shy wolf-girl who seemed to be around him any chance she got and although she had asked him before about being in a relationship, he wasn't about to reveal his courting of the Devil.  The Radio Demon was polite in allowing the wolf to follow him about helping him with various things while also talking with her to learn of her past and possibly find how she could move on however that wasn't so easy with how she had lived in life.  Taking her own life when she had a miscarriage and being abused by the one person she thought cared for her, she was a timid thing who's ears were always down and she seemed red-faced all the time.  During one weekend, the Hotel threw a little soiree in the bar where music and food was provided, Devyn was setting up the platters of delicious treats and munchies while Lyanna was singing for the small crowd that had gathered, she used her long snake tail to pull her lover towards the stage making him go wide-eyed embarrassed as they got on stage to sing together.  Meanwhile, Lucifer was entertaining Marie and Yuuki with a few Dad Jokes while also juggling some apples to where he'd poof them into glitter that showered the two.  While Yuuki was happy and excited for it, Marie not so much as she didn't like her fur getting messy, the Devil hugged the two while laughing as Husk and Niffty were at the bar passing out drinks.  Alastor enjoyed some whiskey himself while turning to see Elizabeth off to the side by herself, taking a moment to ponder if maybe he should reach out to her in a more polite manner as to walk up to her and ask.

"Elizabeth, Dear, would you care to dance?"  He offered a hand making her look up surprised by the notion, stammering her reply while grasping his hand and following him out to the floor where Vaggie and Charlie were already dancing as well as Angel had pulled Yuuki to dance with him for the fun of it.  The Hotel had fun on days like this, simply enjoying the little things in life as Alastor twirled Elizabeth about, his usual smile and while the two did so Lucifer would watch from afar.  He didn't feel anything at the sight of the two, he trusted the feelings between them and knew Alastor was just being a gentleman to the Demoness as he knew she had feelings for Alastor but the Devil didn't judge either of them.  He then glanced at Marie as she finished shaking off the glitter,

"Care for a dance, Marie?"  He pulled her to the floor as well before she could answer and although she was a clumsy pupper, he had her stand on his boots while he danced with the small black wolf.  Lately, the Devil had sensed something within Marie that didn't quite fit, a darkness that loomed inside and it confused him each day as he could see it growing within her and yet she seemed fine herself.  She was always happy, always smiling, still, it unnerved him.  She, however, was having fun in their dance as she giggled with her tail wagging happily, Alastor glanced over to smile at the two, although the Radio Demon wasn't a fan of canines, he rather liked Marie and could see the two had become close friends.  A loyal hound who looked up to the Devil as he wasn't like the stories had portrayed him at all, it was something that nagged at Lucifer as he knew one day they would see him for what he truly was.  Suddenly something caught the corner of his eye, Lucifer turned to see Elizabeth looking up at Alastor as he was dancing with his eyes closed and thus didn't see as the wolf girl leaped to wrap her arms around his neck kissing the Radio Demon.  The Devil went wide-eyed and stopped dancing with Marie as others noted what happened when Alastor grunted to nearly snap at the other pushing her off,

"Elizabeth!  What in the world is the matter with you?  I thought you understood this between us?"  Alastor stepped away to wipe his mouth while still grinning but clearly not happy as the wolf girl huffed quite upset,
