Friends: Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, Tessa, Cassidy, and Ryan.

Story: Three of them don't remember much of their past, but they know it wasn't very pleasant. All they do know was they were born in a place of trees. Magenta knows everything of the past, but refuses to tell it until she's ready.

All four of them were new animals of the New York City Zoo before Tessa, Cassidy, and Ryan. Magenta had to stay in the clinic due to a tragic injury she had when she first came into the zoo. Alex the lion was the very first friend they made since they first arrived, and he treated them like siblings.

As much as they're quiet and a bit shy around other animals, they are friendly and kind to children since Saber is the sisters' little brother. They became friends with Marty, Melman, and Gloria as Alex was by their side.

When Tessa, Cassidy, and Ryan arrived to the zoo, the four okapis became friends with the trio.

Relationship: Alex is like an older brother to them (Especially to Magenta). Gloria is almost like a mother to them. They are friends to Melman and Marty, best friends to Tessa, Cassidy, and Ryan. They may like being alone sometimes, but they do stick close to each other, protecting each other from mean people and animals who dare pick on them.
