Chapter 2: Penguins' Plan

Tessa, Cassidy, and Ryan were on a 10 minute break after their performance. They would take drinks of water from the water fountain and sit down to start a conversation while waiting for the bell to ring to remind them to get back to performing.

"I am happy that our tricks are making children cheer for more." Tessa squealed a bit. As she was drinking a bottle of water, Cassidy and Ryan were giggling at how their lioness friend is reacting. "I know right? It was really fun for all three of us." Cassidy added. Her smile was growing bigger the second she keeps thinking about the performance. Ryan was proud too, but something came into his mind. "But what are we gonna do until today is over?" he asks. Both girls looked at their wolf friend with confusion as well. None of them know what they plan to do after today is done.

Just then, Alex and the okapis showed up next to them at the gates. Sakura, Pinkie, and Saber had rolled up papers in their mouths but they weren't getting drooled on. The male lion had a smile on his face while three of his companions trotted over to them while he kept Magenta back. "Hey guys, how was the performance?" he asked. His tail begins to sway as his blue eyes matched with Tessa's matching ones, but he did his best not to blush to hard. "Fantastic. We're having a good time." Cassidy replied. When the three of them were given the papers from Sakura, Pinkie, and Saber, the three okapis retreated back to their sister and Alex. "My friends and I are hoping that you three will come hang out with us tonight." Alex requested. The three performers became curious before they opened the rolled papers.

"What's tonight?" Cassidy asked. "Marty's birthday." The triplet sister okapis chimed excitedly. Saber chuckled at his sisters' silly attitude then explained, "We're all having a party for him at our areas later on." The three of them looked at each other and nodded yes. They turned back to the group and Tessa asked, "Can we come too? We have presents for him too." "Sure. We'll ask him about that for you guys." Alex responded.

Suddenly, the okapis grabbed Alex and starts dragging him away in a hurry. Alex had quickly caught onto this and knew why. He nodded and turned back to the trio to find Tessa giggling at how the okapis are strong enough to drag him. He blushed in embarrassment and waved bye before calling out, "Later!" Then disappearing with his four partners.

Tessa was feeling her heart beat fast like a train and a blush turning red as cherries. But then, she remembered the paper Pinkie had given her. She was about to unfold it when she noticed a little heart shaped tag with a little message that left her blushing.

'Don't open it until you confess.'

Cassidy had unfolded her paper and looked at the picture she was seeing. She was smiling brightly when she looked at it.

Ryan unfolded his paper and he was left in a blushing mess of what he sees. His tail was wagging madly as his dandelion yellow eyes looked at it with embarrassment.
