With Saber back with them, the gang is now at a train station waiting for the subway. Alex was relieved one of his partners was fine, but with the slight rope mark on Saber's neck from Marty's rope, it made the male lion growl in anger. He was not going to let that zebra see another moment of daylight again for hurting his partners and dragging them into this madness.

He peeked out to the tracks, seeing nothing but darkness in the end. "Is it coming?" Tessa asked, busily treating Saber's rope mark on his neck. Alex silently sighed with growl when he sees no train. "I knew we should've taken Park." he growled, turned away from the tracks. "Are you sure this is the fastest way to Grand Central Station?" Cassidy asked, helping Tessa finish patching up Saber's neck. "I don't know, that's what Melman said!" Gloria shouted. Everyone almost flinched from the female hippo's loud voice when Ryan and Melman came out of the men's restroom with the male wolf pulling the male giraffe behind him. "Hey you guys!" Melman called. The other animals turned their attention towards the male giraffe, while Ryan just sighed and let go of Melman's neck. Melman looks at them with an excited expression and speaks to them with a happy tone. "That room has some nifty little sinks you can wash up in, and look!" The male giraffe sticks his long tongue out to reveal a blue toilet refresher stuck on it. "Free mints!"

"This isn't a field trip Melman!" Ryan growled, face palming. Alex nods in agreement before taking refresher off of the giraffe's long tongue and tosses it away. "This is an urgent mission to save Marty and the sisters from throwing their lives away!" Saber growls in agitation before he finally commands, "Now where's the train?!" Just on cue, the sound of a train whistle was heard in the tunnel. The animals smiled in relief. "Ah! Here it comes." Ryan breathed. All the animals stuck their heads out to see the train, when Melman turned around to see a bright light heading straight for them. He screams and all the animals quickly pulled their heads back in just in the nick of time. Gloria and Tessa turned to Alex with hurry and confused looks in their eyes. "What did Marty say to you? Tessa and I asked you to talk to him!" Gloria yelled, due to the loud train and nobody even noticed Melman sneak back the refresher into his mouth. "I did! I did!" Alex responded, quickly. "I don't understand! He said: Let's go! And I said: What are you crazy? And he says: I'm ten years old! And----" When Alex was finishing up his explanation, Saber had stepped onto the train as he kindly let the passengers pass, much to the people's surprise yet they still ran away screaming when they saw the other animals. When all the animals gotten onto the train, Melman didn't realize one of the tissue boxes he wore on his hooves before he left the zoo popped off when his leg got caught on the doors.

Back with Marty and the Okapi sisters, Marty was talking to the police officer's horse for directions to Grand Central Station as the sisters tried to free themselves while Marty was distracted. Unfortunately, no success. The sisters could feel their anger boil towards the male zebra and their friendship with him had started to crack.

"What you gotta do, is you go straight back down West 42nd." The horse explained. "It's now on your left after Vanderbilt. You hit the Chrysler building, you've gone too far." Marty nodded with a smile and took the ropes into his mouth. "Thanks a lot, officer." He replied, tugging on the ropes to make the okapis follow him. The sisters were already having their eyes water again, despite the tears they had already shed when they sent their little brother to find the others. Marty was just about to cross the road when the horse called out, "Hey! Wait for the light!" The monochrome mammal took back his hoof and waited.

"Freak." the horse muttered to himself. He saw the pain and fear of the okapi sisters, but he couldn't do anything. Not with the officer on his back. He felt bad for the rainbow colored girls. The officer on his back was talking on his radio, clearly surprised of the mammals he saw in front of him. "Yeah, that's right. A zebra with three tied okapi." he reported. "Right in front of me. Can I shoot them?" "Negative." the radio responded. "Then I'm gonna need some back up." The officer responded. Just as the light turned, Marty tugged on the ropes of the frighten yet angry sister trio. It almost seems he doesn't care a bit about the sisters or the fact their brother had somehow escaped.

With the gang, they were on the subway train and waiting for the train to arrive at the station. Alex had Saber close to him so he doesn't leave and disappear again. He was determined to get the rest of his partners back before Marty can get away with them. He pulled himself out of that thought for a moment when he turned to a man, cowering behind his newspaper. The man slowly peeks out from the paper, only to cower back when he saw Alex roar.

"Augh! Knicks lost again." Alex growled. "Ahh, what are you gonna do?" Melman asks, facing everyone upside down because of his long neck. Cassidy groaned and pulled her ears impatiently then asked, "Are we getting closer yet?" she groaned. Tessa patted her friend's back to calm her down. Cassidy tends to get a bit impatient, especially when she's in a hurry. Just then, the megaphone was being announced but the animals except Saber couldn't hear it very well. "What did it say?" Tessa asked, confused. Saber was about to answer, but he stopped when Alex asked, "Did that just say 'Grand Central Station' or 'my aunt's constipation'?" The non-colored male mammal didn't chuckle at the last part, because he was too far focused on rescuing his sisters.

Marty and the female okapi trio had finally arrived at Grand Central Station. Despite the place is very beautiful with the colors, the trio sisters had too much fear poisoned in their minds and their struggles became a bit stronger, despite it being futile and causing more pain in their necks. The male zebra gazed at the place in awe and excitement. "Grand Central Station." He had a good hold on the ropes so the trio doesn't escape. "It's grand and it's central." He complimented. He took the ropes into his mouth and tugged harshly on the okapis, causing more pain in their necks. Pinkie was starting to hyperventilate quietly and Sakura pulling her rope as hard as she could to stop the zebra. Magenta was starting to cry silently as she looked at her reflection on the clear floor. "Hurry guys." she whimpered so quietly, she couldn't be heard in Marty's ears.

At last, the subway had stopped and Alex, Saber, Tessa, Cassidy, Gloria, and Ryan quickly got out then ran towards the entrance of the station. Melman was a bit behind when his head got stuck on the doors of the subway, but he managed to get free only to slip and crash land into a drummer's drum set and wreck it.

The people in the station were screaming in fear as Alex and Saber made their way into the station, as Alex tries to calm the people down to no success since they couldn't understand him. "Move aside...this is an emergency situation!" the male lion explained. "Don't panic! Chill out! It's not that big emergency!" He was unaware nobody was understanding him.

Suddenly, an old lady who was calmly walking up the steps looked at Alex and Saber, specifically Alex. When he was a bit close enough, she swung bag on the lion, shocking the male okapi. Tessa and Cassidy had caught up to them to see the male big cat get beaten up by an old lady. Both girls shut their eyes when hearing the harsh hits, not noticing Saber trying to fend off the lady to from hurting his friend. "How do you like that?!" the old lady yelled, spraying pepper spray in Alex's face when Saber had dodged it very quickly. He watched his friend get flipped over before he grabbed the lady's bag and started a tug-of-war with her. Tessa and Cassidy rushed over to Alex and helped him up. "Are you okay, Alex?" Tessa asked, worriedly. "Does it hurt?" Cassidy asked, concerned. The male lion stood up on his legs, still trying to regain his vision. "Lady, what is wrong with you?" he exclaimed in shock. He turned to hear grunts of pain behind him and found Saber get hit by the old lady with her bag as he glared angrily at her. "Ow! Get a grip on yourselves people!" he yells, about to attack the old lady. But he was quickly pulled away and carried by Alex. "Come on, let's go." Cassidy hurried, wanting to get away before things get out of hand. "We got to find your sisters and Marty." Tessa reminded. That snapped Saber out of his annoyed anger back to his worry of his sisters. When they walked away, they could heard the old lady shout at them angrily.

"You're bad a kitty!"
