Chapter 8

To say that Alec's family and friends were shocked, it would be an understatement. They were more than shocked. No one could believe what they were informed from the Malec couple on that afternoon.

"So, bottom line is, you are full-fledged Angel as in Pureblood and – the Raziel we know and the Raziel who Clary and Jace over here summoned– is actually your father" inquired Luke with utter shock.

"Yes, indeed. He's my father and I'm his son" explained Alec patiently.

"And that means Alec knows ..." Jace said only to be cut off by Magnus.

"He knows me and Father as well as technically being raised by a Pureblood Demon! Yes" answered Magnus simply.

"Wow" was the only thing that came out of Simon's mouth.

These few days were a whirlwind for the new ascended Shadowhunter.

"Does Mother know about this?" inquired Izzy.

"No Izzy. Our parents don't know anything about who I'm or who my father is. Definitely not my powers" clarified Alec.

"They need to know" stated Izzy.

"No, they can't know this now" said Jocelyn.

"And why is that? They deserve to know the truth" said Izzy.

"Dear child, your brother isn't like anyone of you. He's a full-fledged Angel which comes with the angelic powers. If you will tell them and accidentally it passed through others, this will reach Lilith and she won't stop at nothing to hunt down Alec for his powers; to kill him!" exclaimed Asmodeus.

"For now, my son's/your brother's identity and powers shall remain in secrecy" informed Raziel in affirmative tone which didn't leave a room for argument.

"I can't believe that Alec is an actual angel. This is like a dream" stated Clary.

Everyone was still not knowing exactly how to process the news of Alec being a Pureblood angel and not just half Angel.

"Who could have thought that Alec has angelic connection? It feels surreal. He, now, holds ground with both of Clary and Jace. He's even more powerful, having pureblood angelic blood!" exclaimed Simon raving about Alec's new found heritage. He along with his other shadowhunters were training on the rooftop of Magnus' apartment building.

"We get Simon. He's a Pure-blood, the real deal" said Jace.

"Someone is jealous," joked Izzy.

"What? Jealous? Me? But he's my parabatai" said Jace proudly.

"What are you bickering about guys?" inquired Alec amusedly. He was able to fly onto the rooftop testing his wings and some of his powers to keep him under the radar.

"About how Izzy thinks Jace is jealous of you being an Angel whereas how Jace is proud his parabatai is an Angel" said Clary funnily.

"Oh, I'm not jealous Izzy. I've the coolest and the strongest parabatai in the history of Shaodowhunters. And he's an Angel" said Jace proudly again.

"Cocky much today, aren't we?" teased Izzy.

"Quit teasing my parabatai Izzy. Pureblood Angel or not, he's still my parabatai, you are still my little sister along with Max and Simon as well as Clary are my future brother-and-sister-in-laws" stated Alec simply.

Everyone went and hugged Alec tightly.

"Don't go and smother my son too much or I won't forgive you" said Raziel in jokingly threatening voice who decided to join his son's and his friends' training.
