Chapter 7

It was early in the morning when everyone heard bickering in Magnus' kitchen.

It was exactly 7:30 AM, when everyone else including Magnus shuffled into the kitchen to see what none of them could have ever imagined. It was a sight to behold.

Asmodeus and Raziel were dressed in cute patterned PJs bantering with each other regarding Asmodeus' cooking skills. Raziel was rambling how his Asmodeus couldn't cook to save a child's life from hunger whereas Asmodeus -who was flushing- was telling him to shut up reminding him of the countless days he cooked him the best food found in the mundane realm.

"Father. Raziel" it was Magnus who was first to break their bickering and bantering episode.

Then he was followed by his boyfriend.

"What are you two doing and it isn't even 9 AM?" inquired Alec amusedly.

"Your dad/father-in-law is trying to set your house on fire boys and uncle Raz is trying to stop him" said Raziel playfully.

"What! I'm not going to burn my son's and my son-in-law's kitchen Raz. I'm trying to prepare a decent breakfast for all of us. Stop being mean to your Asmo" whined Asmodeus cutely to his on-again boyfriend.

"Hey Jace. Are you seeing what I'm seeing? A Greater Demon is in the process of making us a breakfast and is whining cutely to his Angel boyfriend. Still sceptic about him!" said Simon in exclaiming manner.

"To be honest with you Simon, I've never expected this and I can't believe what I'm seeing" stated Jace in disbelief.

After 30 minutes of playful bantering by the new/old couple, breakfast was ready.

Everyone sat down to the table with eyes wide like saucers. There were pancakes, waffles, peanut butter toasts, tea biscuits, chocolate cupcakes, blueberry muffins, beef and turkey sandwiches with scrambled eggs. Also, there kettles of tea ranging from Earl Grey to Passion Fruit along with fresh apple and orange juice with Black and French coffee.

It looked like the Angel liked and enjoyed to tease his Greater Demon boyfriend while the gang had assessed that this breakfast is worthy of 5+ star hotels. And when they all dug in moaning on a mouthful of the tasty breakfast, Asmodues was damn proud of himself.

"So, what do we need to next?!" inquired Luke.

"We need to locate the whereabouts of Valentine and then we get our hands on Lilith" explained Raziel.

Everyone had agreed and went on to check the previous photos and samples they had collected with the help of Magnus and tried to gather much information.

Magnus stated that he will make phone calls to get his dear friends Catrina and Ragnor Fell to join them with everyone agreeing for the extra help.

Izzy went on to call her mother to update her with the situation and to warn her to take of herself and the rest of the family and not to alert the Clave for now until they are successful to pinpoint Valentine's exact location.

Luke and Jocelyn were talking when angry Clary walked in on them with her fiancé Jace next to her.

"We need to locate Jonathan's place too, Jocey" stated Luke softly. He was afraid that he would bring such an old wound to open.

"Mom, can we talk for a second here?" stated Clary who was slightly angered. Jace was by her side trying to quieten her anger.
