"So today class we will begin..." Mr. Browne hardly spoke a word before Samuel was drowning out his voice.

"So why so tense?" I ground my teeth, and tried not to sound like the biggest bitch in the entire world.

"I don't know, maybe because I yelled at you out there and now I feel really bad because we're lab partners." I grumbled. Samuel only chuckled.

"Don't sweat it really. I know we don't really know each other. It's an off time for you I guess. I shouldn't have imposed myself on you, a complete stranger." I breathed out slowly, the tension in my shoulders loosening. He was being nice to me. I had been so rude before. Maybe he wasn't such a bad guy. I judged him too harshly.

"Now, if you'll all turn your attention to the board.." I shook myself out of my thoughts and smiled back up at Samuel.

"Thanks for understanding." I murmured. Samuel nodded, turning towards the board.

"No problem."

As the first week of school progressed I found myself liking him more and more with each passing day. He was actually a really sweet guy, funny too. I spent most of my time hanging out with Samuel, Ana, or Jasmin but never all together. Jasmin still hadn't met Ana yet even though she had been over to our dorm multiple times. Ana was always over when Jasmin was out and whenever Ana and Jasmin were both gone I hung out with Samuel. I usually only saw Jasmin in the mornings and for dinner at night. We usually hung out and talked about our day after that. I found myself enjoying college, and my classes more than I had expected.

"So how's your boyfriend? You don't talk about him much." Jasmin questioned that Saturday afternoon as we lounged around our dorm. She was right. I don't talk about Niall often because he is really famous and I'm not one to go on and on about someone I'm seeing. Granted, I have only had one boyfriend.

"Umm he's okay. Far away and all but okay." I said. With a shrug. Jasmin nodded as she munched on her chips.

"You must really trust him." She said to me. I furrowed my eyebrows confused.

"What do you mean?" I questioned. Jasmin shrugged.

"Oh you know. Neil is just really far away, like a whole continent. If it was me dating him I would get jealous. Insanely jealous. Who knows what girls he's talking to." Jasmin shrugs and a knot forms in the pit of my stomach. "I'm not saying he would cheat on you. I'm just saying I would be jealous." Jasmin quickly explained. She must have seen the look on my face. Quickly, I shook my head.

"I trust Neil." Jasmin nods.

"Good, I hope he trusts you." Jasmin grins at me, continuing to eat but there's something behind that smile of hers. Something I don't like.

Over the weekend I meet up with Jackson in an attempt to finally get him to tell me what he was trying to say that first Monday when classes started. "What should we get?" Jackson asks jostling me from my thoughts. We're at the on campus pizza joint, according to Jackson its suppose to have sensational pizza.

"Whatever you want to order will be fine with me." Jackson nodded a smile on his face. It wasn't until we had ordered, sat down, discussed campus life and our classes until I brought it up. "So, hey what were you going to tell me. That first Monday when you stopped by my dorm. You said you would explain but you never did." Jackson stiffened but played it off with a shrug.

"Oh it was probably nothing. I can't even remember right now." He smiled but it didn't reach his eyes. I was about to pressure him but the pizza arrived and I lost focus.

Sunday night Niall and I were able to talk on the phone. With Jasmin in listening range I had to call him Neil and ask him about Ireland. Niall caught on pretty quickly when I called him Neil as I answered the phone. "How's school going?" Niall questioned, after he had finished laughing.

"Oh it's going. I've had a pretty good week. Well, there were some rough patches." I said glancing over at Jasmin who smiled up at me from the stove. "But we got through them."

"We always do." Niall said. I could just see that cute little smile of his.

"How's..." I almost said touring. "Ireland? Is the weather nice?" Niall kept snickering.

"South America is great. Kinda hot but I like it." I nodded, fiddling with the hem of my shirt, biting my lip.

"Make sure you wear a sweater."

"I am. Liam is constantly on me about sunscreen. I think he's under the impression I might burn up and catch fire or something." It was my turn to laugh.

"Well he's one of your best friends. I hope he would be concerned." Niall chuckled as I smiled at the ground.

"Well I hope you're having fun. I really miss you." Niall took on a serious tone then.

"Aw, babe, I miss you too." We were quiet, listening to each other breathe.

"I hate not seeing you." Niall murmured. I laughed slightly.

"Yeah I do too." I murmured, running a hand through my hair and shaking it out.

"We just have to get through three and a half months though." Niall reminded me. I groaned looking at the calendar, it just seemed so far away.

"I know I can do this." I replied. Niall laughed a little.

"I know you can. You're tough. You don't need me." I laughed at him.

"Of course I need you idiot. I love you." I heard a dramatic awwww escape Jasmin's lips but I didn't look at her.

"I love you too Sarah." There was some muffled shouting which could only mean one thing.

"You have to go?" I questioned. Niall sighed o bathe other end.

"Yeah, I have to go. I'm so sorry Sarah." He cried out, sounding ab it stressed.

"No, hey it's okay. I understand." I replied quickly. Niall sighed again.

"Okay, I love you and I'll see you soon." I nodded even though he couldn't see.

"I love you too." We hung up.
