Chapter 1 : Let's Do This

Bright Red Eyes watched me from across the room.

Shifting slightly I called out to my bestfriend, "Theo ?", receiving no answer, my instincts started kicking in as I sat up straight. I got out of bed, keeping my eyes trained on the owner of those blindingly Red eyes. The closer I went the brighter the eyes got.

I was then hit with a waft of cinnamon and mint, in that spilt second when I closed my eyes to adjust to the smell, the figure disappeared.

I inspected the corner carefully and found nothing. No trace. Except for that strong mixture of cinnamon and mint. I climbed back in bed with my mind set on figuring out who was in my room.

"Lani." My bestfriend whispered.

I groaned and pushed him off the bed sitting up a bit.

"What ?" I asked groggily rubbing my eyes.

"Remember you starting school today." He stated.

"Seriously." I groaned falling backwards onto my bed.

"Yup now get up stupid ass." He said hitting me in the head.

"Asshole." I called.

"A sexy one too." He finished walking out my room. I got up and entered the bathroom.

I was now headed downstairs fully clothed in black & blue.

Black ripped jeans, black air forces w/ white socks, and a blue pullover with the words - 'Sex is magical, Not Unicorns' written on it, over a baggy black T-shirt.

I left my wavey blonde hair down and tied a blue handkerchief around my head like a headband, and one around my left knee cap. { Incase you haven't noticed, I'm cripped.💙 }

"Let's go." I said to Theo who was wearing grey sweats, a tight white T-shirt outlining his toned body and white air forces. He turned off the television and followed me outside.

"Now Lani," he started, "Aren't you tired of getting kicked ? Literally from every school you attend."
I glared at him, "Aren't you tired of getting hit ?"

He rolled his eyes, "See, my point exactly. Your soo....violent bruh."

"I'm no-,"

"We both know your not normal and you got a hell of a temper." He said cutting me off.

"Just get lost before I slap you." I snapped.

"Point proved." He responded.

I glared at him and then turned on my heels.

"Where are you going ?" He called.

"School."

"You don't even know the way."

"Trust me. I'll find it." I replied before running off.

A bit short ik, but i'm improving.
