Sonic: The Last Resistance

Prologue

In the farthest reaches of the mountains and the great lands of Green Hill, was the village of Retro City, it was 2 am, normally everyone was asleep, it was the morning time when they began to broadcast documentaries that probably no one would see.
 

In a very modest house, someone left the TV on by broadcasting a documentary of the shooting stars orbiting our land.

The documentary said: - Have you ever wondered about the origin of humanity? Living beings, animals, plants, and all kinds of microbes in which we are made? Dr. Robotnik, a scientist with a PhD specialized in the search for this huge little incognita. We did an interview with the doctor about his thesis related to the origin of humanity and shooting stars, these were his words:

Doctor robotnik appears on screen visiting a lab coat, apparently he was very young, perhaps it was a documentary of the '70s where he still had no plans to conquer the world.

- A pleasure to be on your show, Gerald! You see, the shooting stars we always see orbiting in the skies at night are usually being pulled by the earth by their gravity. Many of us think they are meteorites that are directed to crash into the earth but it is not, the stars have a destiny, a goal to choose on the planet they want. --- This is mentioned by Dr. Robotnik, while placing a series of videos of the Doctor's robots investigating stars that crashed into the earth. They were stars that glowed with high intensity of different colors.

They then place Doctor Robotnik's interview in the background. - With my research, we have concluded that these stars possess energy, a kind of energy that even I, Doctor robotnik, am totally incapable of understanding! That's why I've spent all my time understanding them. Another thing I've discussed about these stars is that they absorb any kind of microbes, these stars are, like eggs that create life. If a star falls into the water, it would generate some kind of aquatic animal that we would have no idea it existed. That is why we know the animal kingdom much better than the aquatic kingdom, many stars have fallen into the sea. One theory could claim that these stars are possibly the origin of our species, and if they are not, then I will get to the bottom of this.

Meanwhile, at the time of day, in a TV store promoting the new fashion screens, they placed large piles of lighted Televisions in front of an exhibition window. They all quickly had an interrupted transmission of the local Retro City newscast. A news announcer said the following:

- We are sorry to interrupt this transmission to bring you a last minute note. The famous Retro City scientist, Dr Robotnik, who is best known for his work on shooting stars and his important research on the origin of the human race, will be imprisoned today at 15 hours for alleged illegal experiments, this includes animal abuse, attempted sale of living things on the black market, and secretly concealing secrets from the Retro City government." says the broadcaster.Just after they begin to cross another series of images of the living beings that Doctor Robotnik imprisoned.

Afterwards, the announcer added: - These living beings are experiments that Dr. Robotnik used according to his theory of the energy of the stars, it seems that the Doctor used energy with organisms of pet animals and other wild animals returning them to his image and likeness. It is suspected that the Doctor conducted these experiments as weapons against the government of Retro City and its citizens, since these beings responded only to the orders of the scientist. These animals were released near the Green Hills prairies. Despite this being dangerous, the authorities announced that urban exploration and camps in wooded areas are prohibited elsewhere outside Retro City. Only travel by plane, car or bus is permitted to ensure their safety during those transferred to another state or country.

Also assured by the announcer: - Many of the summer camps on the outskirts of the city were closed for use for safety. Dr. Robotnik's conviction is deemed not to be as high because his crimes were "not aggressive enough" according to the words the court judge said. This would give the doctor a sentence of 4 years or less.....

The conviction would be of no use to the citizens of Retro City, passing the hours, they announced an event of a prison break caused by an explosion inside the prison premises, clearly due to one of the Doctor's henchmen robots , as he was among the first to leave according to the surveillance cameras. The doctor became a fugitive of high caution for his ruthless evil in using the weapons of his robots against security guards, killing them in cold blood.

The doctor was no longer seen after the escape, neither were the animals. They are said to be signs of animal abduction events throughout Retro City, investigating the large scanofy birds and rabbits. Attempted robbery at vets and missing pets. This leads to all the events that have happened that have occurred from the first Sonic game to the last one we know.
