Simon's POV:
It's been three months since we found out Izzy was pregnant. We did a ultrasound already to find out how far along she is turns out she was already 2 months meaning she is now five months pregnant. We already know that we are having a baby boy but today we are going for another ultrasound. "Simon!" Izzy yells from upstairs. I run up the stairs to see Izzy in a maternity dress.
"Does this dress make me look fat" she says as she looks in the mirror. I laugh slightly. "Don't laugh at me I'm asking a serious question" she looks at me sternly with a hand on her hip. "Honey your five months pregnant" I say and walk over to her and wrap my arms around her waist. But I have to admit it's getting harder and harder to do that but I keep it to myself. "Aww your so sweet but I'm still fat" she unravels herself from my grasp and walks out of the room and down the stairs. "Your not fat your pregnant!" I yell to her. I grab her purse and walk back down the stairs to exit the house with her. We walk the short walk to the infirmary and sign in. We wait in the chair until our names are called.Izzy's POV:
I wait in the ultrasound room with Simon. We are currently hand in hand. The doctor comes in a few minutes after we arrive. "Hello I'm Dr.Wattson I will be delivering your baby" the doctor say and offers a formal handshake. We accept the handshake. "I thought Dr.Mclaren was going to deliver the baby" I say. "Well she has been moved to the Infirmary in the Los Angeles Institute" I nod. She squirts the cold gel on my stomach which makes me shiver. She then moves the ultrasound wand to try and get the best picture of the baby. "Congratulations your having twins!" Me and Simon look at each other with fear and shock. "T-Twins?" I stutter. "Yes dear a boy and a girl" she says pointing to them on the tiny screen. "How did we miss this before" Simon asks. "Sometimes one baby hides behind the other and is quite hard to spot". "Anyway would you like a picture" "Yes". Once the doctor left the room I began to cry. Simon hugs me and rubs my back. "Why are you crying?" "I'm terrified and because of my stupid hormones" I say. "I was barely prepared for one baby now I'll have two". "I know I'm scared too". I cry into Simon's chest until the doctor comes back in. "Well here is your pictures" she hands us four pictures. "I will see you in four months" . We gather our things and head back home.Once we get home I immediately call Clary. "Jace and I will be there in a few minutes" she says on the other side of the phone. I wait a few minutes and Jace and Clary come through the door. Aurora was in Jaces arms. "Hey what's up" Clary says. "I'm not having a baby" I say Clary and Jaces faces have fear written all over them Clary looks down at my stomach. "What do you mean" Clary asks. "I'm having two" I say with a fake excited expression. "Surprise" Simon says unenthusiastically . "Wow Simon you don't mess around" Jace says. We all give a little laugh. "So I'm going to have two nieces or nephews" Clary says. "Actually one niece and one nephew" I say. "We have to tell Alec and Magnus" Jace says. "Ok we will tonight at dinner" I say. "I'll call Alec" Jace hands Aurora to Clary and steps out of the room.

We sit down at the dinner table. "So, why the sudden invite" Alec asks taking a bite of food. "Well um we have some exciting news" I say exchanging glances with Simon. "We are having twins!" I say. Alec drops his utensils and has his mouth wide open. "That's wonderful now I can dress up two kids" Magnus says with excitement. "And you two knew about this" Alec asks looking at Clary and Jace. "Actually we just found out like an hour ago" Clary says while giving food to Aurora. "Well what are the genders" Magnus asks. "A boy and a girl" Simon says. "Great we will go shopping tomorrow" Magnus says and Clary agrees. We talked some more and eventually it got late and everyone left.
