The Wall

One of a kind

Atop a tree, a majestic bird rests on with his wings spread wide.

Eyes opened, gazing the horizon, only natural instincts felt inside.

Thousands of miles of open sky to roam.

Yet he chooses to stay near the tree he calls home.

When the creature's belly starts to grumble and moan.

He takes off to hunt the open land alone.

Nature's choices may be strange and not how you live.

But it's not your life, or not your choices to give.

You can not change if a bird wants to be wild and free.

Let nature take it's course and let him be.

When he is bored and has nothing else to do but soar the opened sky.

Let him; don't ask why, just let the animal fly.

The bird knows exactly what he wants and how to accomplish his desires.

Just like you, don't listen to strangers, cheaters, or liars.

You are you, and the bird is a bird.

He has his world and you have your world.

Don't let temptations of others change you and mess with your mind.

Remember, you are you and you are one of a kind!
