Tommy sighed as he looked up. There was a bonfire lit outside, the gramophone that you and Finn had hauled outside played cheerfully right under his window, which was tightly shut to keep the cold from nipping as it slithered around the house and sank heavily into everything it could touch.

He'd asked several times for all of you to quiet down. He had several important letters to right and it was becoming more and more difficult. When you all whooped and cheered, singing along he found it even harder.

"Could you go and get (Y/N) again." He asked when the maid came in to stoke the fire and add wood. The maid nodded and hurried away, stopping in the doorway, you following behind.

"We're having a wonderful time, it's a shame you can't join us." You said coyly and smiled a sly smile.

"You know what I'm trying to do. Will you at least turn it down?" He asked with exasperation. When another song started he sighed and shook his head. "If I hear this song one more time there will be blood."

"Well we wouldn't want that." You said quickly as you left. When you went back the music doubled in volume and Tommy had to finally give up. Pouring himself a drink he resigned himself to the fact that he would not be getting any work done. With another sigh, he left the room, reaching for his jacket as he passed the coat stand, he stepped out into the cold and joined you all.
