“ I do not know my name. “ The demon stared down at the officer, his hair was a faded yet calm pink as his skin was a soft peach, but was that kind peach was corrupted by the other side of this face. The other half was a pitch black abyss that will possibly suck you in to internal hell if you stared for too long.

“Sir, I am not going to ask you again, Tell us your name. Now.” The officer gritted his somewhat pearl teeth as he gripped onto the edge of the faded blue table, glaring at the Demon who was chained down to a metal chair for security reasons and requests from the station themselves.

“I do not know my name, As I said before, So how can I say something I do not know the answer to? Why don’t you explain that sir?” The Demon spoke, narrowing his eyes as The officers’ face grew red in anger, causing him to grab his bag and pull out various files of missing child cases that was announced over the past few months, as it contains every bit of information the state and detectives knew about, just not where they were before it was all too late.

“Then explain this to me, Freak! Why were you in every scene when our officers came in and saw you staring at them?! Hm?! Do children cries and deaths really satisfied what type of MONSTER you are, to society?! Every NEW Scene is a NEW letter found rather carved onto the child’s skin or the environment they had their last breath, They must spell something that regards to your name!! Don’t play games with me boy, Now Tell me what the hell your name is and We will continue on with the questioning, but really, We all know you are the child killer. All Demons are like this.” The officer stared as his eyes narrowed to the demon, The Demon staring at the files until he raised an eyebrow. “How do you know it was me when I had nothing to do with how they were found and I was just there at the wrong moment and time?”

“Answer the f*cking question!!!” The officer growled until he back slapped him across the face, the demon remained to stare blankly as he had no reaction, but looked back up to the officer with the deadly stare that caught the officer off guard.

“Look at the kids.” The Demon spoke up after a long agonizing silence was filling the room, the demon making the officer jump slightly from his sudden response.

“What?” The officer cocked an eyebrow, staring at the files again in slight disbelief. “Have you not realized that the letters the children wrote rather behind their corpse or on their raw flesh, that it was not only self harm, but was showing a message?” The demon grinned. “They only had limited time to breath the water filled lung that would soon be drowned by their own blood? Not only by stabbing but by a simple slice.”

The officer stared down at the files but shook his head, running his fingers through the remains of his soon to be grey hair. “I don’t understand. . !” But soon, the officer quickly looked back at the demon as the Demon chuckled darkly.

“I’m sure you do. Those many folk tales of a spirit willing to drown anyone that wasn’t her children, using them just to get away with your way of relieving what you have been through, It’s sad to see a mortal think in such a way. Such a disgraceful thing to do to your own kind.”

The Demon soon broke the chains as he yanked his arms up, then the chains around his ankles melted in despair as the Officer nearly screamed and quickly backed away from the demon, the room beginning to dem into a black hole as the Demon walked towards the officer. The sound of the children singing and crying made the officer cry out as he covered his ears, violently shaking his head.

“No!! I didn’t do anything to them, I-!!” The officer was soon pushed to a wall, knocking the wind out of him as he coughed and held his chest as if he was going to have a heart attack at any second. The Demon slammed his claw next to the officers head, snapping the officer away as he stared into the eyes of demon, deep hatred filled its eyes as the officer whimpered. The children’s voices soon fell silent as the room was back to normal yet still slightly dem.

“Now, I know I can’t take your soul just like that. You have a daughter but you mistreat her like a rag doll for your childish games. You use her to get the children near you, use her for your lustful taste of blood. I won’t let you continue to do so. Your future will make your regret what you did.” The officer soon went silent, grasping onto his gun from his belt but shook in fear. “Would you like to know how you receive punishment~?” The demon grinned until the officer shook his head again.

“BullSh*t!! You can’t tell the future nor How I will die! I don’t believe in the supernatural and I know this is just some magic sh*t you have strings on! You don’t know me!” The officer screamed out but knew his body was shaking violently in fear he never knew he could have. The demon grinned as he chuckled darkly.

“Alright, but I will say one thing~” The demon soon shot the officer with a toothy gun, pointed the officers gun to the officers forehead, the officers eyes widen. The demon soon lifted the barrel of the gun a bit, as if he fired a bullet.

“Bang.”

The officer lowered his gun as crimson red rolled down his forehead, everything turning onto a quick blur as he saw who shot him. It was a tall man with long black hair tied behind him, He had a dark chretch coat as his cigarette dropped to the ground from his lips. The mans barrel from his gun breathed out smoke as the officer soon saw nothing but black, falling back to the lake his last victim was supposed to die in, the water soon consuming him but colored itself the crimsons he let out without struggle.

The woman with brown curly hair held a little blonde haired girl as she coughed out water from her lungs, the women quickly carrying her to the parks grass as the little girl hugged the woman tightly, the little girl traumatized as she sobbed to the woman's chest. The woman held the little girl close as the man was glaring at where the officers body was, but soon snapped back as he ran over to the women in a somewhat frantic. He soon got on his knees as he hugged the woman, his wife, close and kissed her forehead. The wife hugged her husband tightly as the child continued to sob.

The husband soon noticed the child and asked about any relatives. The little girl, Adaline, described her father as the Husband, Chuck, nodded and went ahead and went to find the father of Adaline. The wife, Amy, hugged Adaline close to comfort her until Chuck came back with Adelines father. Her father groan with pain sticking his head from the officer, but didn’t care as he saw Adaline. He picked her up, happy that he got to hug his only five year old daughter tightly his arms as they both sobbed, happy to be reunited once again.

The somewhat young couple, Amy and Chuck, left them alone after greeting and leaving information with contact, calming down from the incident as they continued their planned walk to the park, heading their way home until Amy noticed something in the playground.

It was a little girl with long red hair, swaying back and forth on a swing as if she were waiting for someone. Amy pointed this out to Chuck as she noticed no adults with the child. The couple walked over to the little girl as she suddenly looked up at the couple, nearly scared out of her mind but remained calm. “Hey, Are you okay? Why are you all alone? Are you lost?” Amy bended to the little girls, her forearms resting on her knees as the red-head look scared but shrugged as she looked down.

“My Dad took my friend away, a blonde little girl around my height and age, but I haven’t seen him in a while now, I’m not allowed to leave or disobey him . . . He’s an officer.” The little red-head rubbed her arm nervous, Chuck looked at the side as he pulled up his scarf as he thought to himself.

“Whoops.” It was all Chuck could think of but shook his head as he thought of what happened again, not regretting his decision. After some small chats, the couple brought the little girl home to call anyone to pick her up. With no call backs, Amy called the orphanage but none would answer to her. She groaned in frustration but after a small talk with her husband, they both agreed to adopt Isabelle, The red-head, if no one took her back.

Isabelle told Chuck very little personal details, but cheered her up as he patted her head softly, Isabelle’s face going red. “Th-Thank you. . Dragon Dad.” Ten year old Isabelle smiled to her new dad as she pushed up her glasses, Only to receive a smile from him as he blew smoke from his burning cigarette, patting her red-hair again.

“No problem Kid.”
