A woman was snoring softly in bed, her black hair and white bangs away from her scarred face and wasn't wearing her daily half mask, which she wore even in bed.
A little boy was awakened by his clock flashed 5 o'clock in the morning, soon grinning as he got out of bed and ran to his mothers' room, opening the door as he jumped onto the end of her bed. "MAMA!! MAMA!! WAKE UUUUP!"
The woman groaned as she felt her son jumping onto her bed again. "Oscar. . Don't jump on Mamas' bed, She's too sleepy-" She soon stuffed her pillow over her head, but her son only continued.
"But Mama!! Today is special!!" Oscar continued until the groans from his mother stopped him from jumping onto her bed anymore. He soon got to his knees crawled behind his mother, hugging her from behind. "I just wanted you to be excited. . Since It's very special to me. . I didn't mean to make you mad. . "
Silence came as his mother removed the pillow from her face and caused him to squeak as she turned around and picked him up, her grinning as she saw his surprised look then hugged him close to her chest.
"How can I get even a wee bit mad at my little baby boy? You're just too damn adorable for me to ever be mad at. Now." She quickly sat up as she held her son close. "What's your reason to be excited for?" She smiled at Oscar, who giggled.
"Well today is the field trip to that music theater, and It's your birthday. . !!" Oscar grinned as he bounced in excitement, but having his mother raised an eyebrow. "You mean our birthday?" She said and smiled as she kissed his forehead, making him squeal. "Well if you're that excited, you can have some cake for breakfast. But you have to get ready first, okay?" She patted his head until he nodded, getting off the bed and soon out of his mothers' room, only for her to smile and get ready.
Soon his bus came to pick him up, his mother hugging him tightly and kissing his forehead. "Mama loves you. Happy 10th birthday." Oscar hugged back as he smiled, soon letting go as he got on the bus, only to shout out "I love you more!" Out the bus window as the bus left the bus stop.
Yaz was running to the hospital from work, tearing up as she didn't want to believe what was going on, wishing it was all a nightmare. She ran to the front desk of the hospital. "Oscar Gray Rodriguez! Where's my son?!" She yelled at the receptionist but she gave Yaz the room number, only for Yaz to run to the room and freeze it shock. Tears spilled from her eyes as she saw Oscar on the hospital bed, him being surrounded by doctors as blood stained the sheets. He looked pale as pieces of glass could be seen from her view. She tried to run to her son until a Doctor held her back.
"I'm sorry Miss! But you can't go to him, He needs an operation right away. . !" Yaz only cried more, struggling to get to her son until she was dragged out to the hallway, soon calmed down by the doctors reassurance then was reluctantly sent home.
After a day of the accident and her visit to the hospital, she got a call from the hospital. Hoping for good news, she answered but only to have the worse happen.
" I'm sorry but. . Your son didn't make it. I'm very sorry. "
Yaz fell to her knees as she dropped the phone, tears immediately flowing down her cheeks, her heart was breaking as she screamed and mourned over her son's death. The call soon ended as silence filled the air. Soon a grin spread onto Yaz' face. She knew what she had to do.
"Why the hell . . . Did you do it?"
Yaz’ screams echoed down the hallways as heavy metal could be heard slamming to the ground, the sounds of meat being ripped out in an painful way, the man she was butchering alive only cried and whimpered as he lost his voice from all the screaming.
“Why?! FUCKING TELL ME!! YOU'RE THE FUCKING REASON WHY HE IS DEAD!! YOU WORTHLESS HUMAN!“ Yaz only brought down her axe more until she used all of her anger and butchered the mans' head enough to make him unrecognizable and enough to break her axe.
She didn't care though. She only laughed hysterically as she was sitting on the man's waist and had tears down her cheeks. She knew the reason why anyways.
She killed the Bus driver that killed many kids she never cared for and her son. Her world was crushed as her son's life was taken by the drunk drivers' hands. The man who continued to drink while driving the bus, only for Oscar to try to make him stop and for the crash to happen, just to have the many glass pieces puncture his lungs and choke in his own blood.
But instead of feeling joy from killing the man, she only felt. Hungry. The hunger she stopped feeling after having her son born and brought to her arms.
The hunger to kill more, that hunger.
That needed to be satisfied.
