(OLD)

The wind blew softly to the womens grey hair, staring at a puddle below her with her dull blue eyes. She was sitting on an old bench as the atmosphere are her was nothing but an abandoned and rotten world, No signs of death, Just death itself. Her head perked up as she heard a rustle in a nearby bush, Slowly sitting up as she stared at the bush. An old white rabbit jumped out, tired as its body shook slightly. The women stared at the rabbit in slight guilt, Her expression sadden until she stood up and walked over to it. She kneeled beside it.

“ Hello “ The women smiled as the rabbit slowly looked up at her then set its head down. “You must be in so much pain. . I’m sorry Your time had to come so soon my friend.” Tears began to stream down her cheeks as she reached her hand to the rabbit. The white rabbit glanced over at the women until she set her hand against its fur, The rabbits eyes slowly closing as its head completely fell until the women caught its head, gently setting it down as she sadly sighed. She pet its head gently then slowly picked it up, heading to a certain direction as small patches of grass, barely alive and behind her, slowly dying as she walked off. She traveled until she reached to what was a Cabin, but walk around it, to what looked like a cemetary.

As she walk by many tall crosses, she approached a willow like Tree, yet had its beauty in its purple petals and its bright green yet demmed grass surrounded the tree trunk well. A simple yet complicated and everlasting gift from life herself. The women smiled as she noticed a large dugged hole and gently set the rabbit in the hole, now label as a grave. She grabbed a flower and set it onto the rabbits body.

“ Sleep well. I hope you see your family soon “  Death smiled upon the rabbits corpse then walked past the cemetery, back to her bench to think about the rabbit the whole day, just like she was with her last victim.
