PoV of Alex

Wednesday

"I'm so sorry I didn't want to rush you in this and I don't know why..."
"It's ok, you don't have to be sorry."
Gosh why do I need to be such a moron?
Why do I always fuck everything up?
She walks out of the kitchen.
I lean against the refrigerator and slide down to the ground.
I rest my face in my hands and feel tears buckling up.
Fuck!

Since the "kiss" there's this awkward tension between us.
I really like Alex and I wish I could just be with him forever but there still is Nickolas.
I just don't know what to do about him.
"Everything okay?"
He looks at me with concern.
I look up from my plate.
"Yeah just a lot on my mind."
We're sitting at his dinnertable.
"I'm still really sorry about earlier."
"You don't have to. I like you and the kiss but Nickolas."
"Well fuck Nickolas!"
He says those words loud and harsh and I get a bit scared.
"I don't mean to be rude to you but he's the biggest asshole I know and you should forget about him!"
"Ok mate just try getting raped and then just forget that!" I yell at him.
He looks shocked and full of regret.
"Geez I'm such a dickhead."
"Well yes you are!"
"But why don't you talk about it?"
"Why should I?"
"Because I care?"
"If you would care about me you'd have shut up  a long time ago!"
"Excuse me that I'm just human and say what's on my mind!"
"Okay I'm out!"
"Ayla..."
I don't know why but I'm not crying.
Normally I would start crying right away.
But something about this situation is different.
I get up and walk away from the table.
I didn't even eat any of the sushi.
I grab my stuff and walk away.
As I'm running to the tube station I realise I'm wearing his t-shirt.
A big oversized nirvana band tea he lend me because I spilled my coffee all over me.
This knowledge makes me cry.
I see a little shop and walk in.
"A bottle of vodka, please."
"May I see your ID?"
"Sure."
I walk out and get in a tube back to the bin I call home.
Tonight I'm going to get wasted.

Friday

Why does everything right now need to be so messed up?
I really like Graham.
But more as a friend.
And then there's Alex.
The perfect angel directly thrown out of heaven by god himself cause Alex is more of a hot as hell devil.
But he's interested in Ayla.
He told me about what happened.
Everything.
Poor thing.
I miss her. She's a good friend.
I stop before a little bookshop that caught my attention.
I open the door and step inside the very vintage and old looking building.
"Hello Mister. How may I help you?"
The female voice is very familiar to me.
"Oh yes. I'm looking for a very special number. I think you might have it?"
Ayla laughs.
"Dude if you didn't sound so incredibly gay saying this I could swear you're trying to fuck your old best friend."
"Ain't both a valid option?"
"Nah. But why tcha want my number?"
She looks very very tired.
The circles under her eyes are almost as dark as her hair.
"I miss you."
"I miss you too, Damon."
She steps out off the counter and hugs me.
"How about we go eat somewhere when my work shift is over?"
I nod and smile.

Damon suggested we should go to a little Italian restaurant.
„So tell me, how do you feel about Alex?"
I blush as I hear his question and hide my face in my hands.
"He's cute.", I mumble as answer.
"Yeah I know!", Damon laughs.
"Damon I don't mean to offend you or hurt you in anyway, but are you gay?"
His face stiffens directly.
My heart stops beating.
A light smile forms on his lips.
"Is it that easy to tell?", he chuckles embarrassed.
"Alex mentioned something about it and know after I talked with you again..."
"What did he say? Did he say that he likes me?"
I see hope in his eyes.
"No he said something about Graham and you."
I force a cheering smile.
"Would be to good if he did..."
He sighs.
I change the subject since Damon seems really uncomfortable with this one.
We order food and have a normal evening like in the old times.
For once I didn't think about Alex or Nick.
