PoV Ayla

The door slams shut.
Left in silence.
I try to get up but I'm just too weak.

"Fuck!"

Tears start forming and soon a river runs down my cheeks.
What should I do now?
I remember Alex.
What he said to me... about Nickolas.
Wait- I can call him.
But does he care?

I get on my legs, wich feel like pudding.
His number still lays next to my phone.
I type it in.
I call him a second time.
And a third.
Then I give up and fall on the ground.

The loud noise of my phone ringing right next to my ear wakes me up.

"Yes?"

"Hey Ayla, it's me, Alex!"

He sounds worried.

"Oh yeah, hey."

"Why did you call? Are you alright? I'm sorry I couldn't call back earlier."

"I-I... he was..."
My voice cracks and suddenly tears run down my face like a waterfall.

"Oh god. I'll be at your place as fast as I can. Hold on, okay?"

He hangs up.

"Okay."

I look around my room.
My clothes are spread all over it.
Then I suddenly realise that I'm not wearing anything.
I manage to grab a shirt and that's it.
Like a hedgehog am I laying on the floor.
Waiting for him.
Time flies by.
After about 20 min finally Alex is there.

"Hey Sweetie... what happened?"
His voice is calm and soothing.

I can't manage to say a word I just start crying again.
He holds me in his arms and tries to ignore the fact that I'm naked.

"It's so cold in here. You should get dressed, okay? I don't want you to get sick."

He smiles and I nod.
As I grab new clothes and proceed to take them on he turns around showing me his back.
I want to laugh or something over his cute behaviour but I can't.

"What now?"

He turns back around and looks at me with anxiety and fear even though he tries to hide it.

"I have an idea. Every time we meet something bad happened and I don't like that. Sooo maybe you could move to my house. Maybe it would help prevent it. I have enough space and it's not freezing cold."

I'm speechless.
Then I nod.
Everything is better then this.
He smiles brightly and hugs me.
I crumble together in fear.

"Don't touch me!"
I get scared by my own loud voice as I fall on the ground.

"I-I'm sorry. I forgot that uhm. I won't do it again! I promise."

The exact same words Nick said to me.
But still his are different.
He means it.
He reaches me his hand and I grab it and get up.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine. I'll get the important stuff and then we can go. But only if it's really okay for you?"

"Yes! I insist."

I feel how a smile forms on my lips.
This isn't going to end well, is it?
