"Iguro-san.. I-" You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, you felt a strong gust of wind touch your delicate skin, you felt a sprinkling of flower petals poke into your h/l hair

You opened your eyes with determination but soon your nervousness had overcome it. You sat down a blushing mess, yes, it's that time of the year, Spring and you wanted to confess to a certain snake pillar and tell him how he made you feel all this time.

It's not like you'll get rejected if you ever tell him, you knew that Iguro had taken a liking to you, it's not like he's doing a good job hiding it

Though, what if he wasn't ready? What if you were assuming it all this time? What if he only thought of you as a friend and nothing more!? What if he's using you to practice for Mitsuri?!

Now that is overthinking and paranoia taking over someones mind.
"What's wrong Y/N" at that moment you panicked a bit, has he been here the whole time?
You looked over to him and saw that he's right infront of you, kneeling and has the eyes of a extremely worried boy.

'Oh great! Now you made him worried! You're doing great Y/N! ' You thought, mentally slapping yourself and asked him "How long have you been there?"
"Not too long, I thought you we're crying so I rushed over here" He explained. 'Could this be my chance?'
You thought, and it literally was only a thought.

You hesitated but it was now or never
"Iguro-san!" You shouted as you grabbed hold to his shoulder gripping his haori a bit, it obviously startled him since you don't normally raise your voice.

You were unmistakably nervous and so was he when you begun to render your words little by little
"I.. I-I..like.." feeling sheepish you stuttered and averted his gaze to nowhere. "You like?"
"I like-" As I said you were looking away from him and it just so happened that you're looking behind him and behind him is Sanemis residence far from here.

"Tanjirou?"

You mumbled, Iguro was close enough to hear it. It just one word his heart shattered to pieces, his expression came from worried to furious
"That Tanjiro" He said fuming

Why did you said that?
Well, you just witnessed the boy flying from Sanemis residence and onto a small field just beside it.
You're taking a guess that he tried giving the man some Ohagi.

It took you a few seconds before you could process what you just had said
"Waah! No! I don't like him! Pl-please I-I just hap-pened to.. umm, well"
But before you could say anything else the snake pillar had already went after Tanjiro

When you got there you saw the poor boy in the butterfly residence.
"I'm really sorry!" You apologized to him, he didn't seem to know what the heck was going on and only said that it wasn't your fault.
What he didn't know though that it was your fault but you're not telling him that now you gotta find your man

You knocked at his doorstep, hoping that he was there though it just so happen that he greeted you not by the front door but behind you holding what seems to be a flower crown
"This is for you"He said blankly, not keeping eye contact with you
"Thank you Iguro-san"You muttered and set the given gift to your head

"I'm sorry of what happened earlier.. I-I didn't mean to say anything like that!" You said as you put your hand to his shoulder, his back was facing you. He heard a slight of guilt in your voice and he couldn't help but feel guilty himself that you're apologizing to him.

"I should be-" "Say, Iguro-san. Are you free tomorrow?" You asked innocently
"I wanna take you out tomorrow, this time my treat" You smiled and that smiled is enough to put back all his broken heart pieces together again

Your goal was to confess to him, yet, you haven't seem to get any sort of development other than you asking him out. "I had asked him out in so many dates! I'm sure he already got the idea"You said to yourself as you layed down on your messy futon
Spring had passed and Summer was around the corner, the heat wad unbelievable. Traveling would be more tougher and sweater than normal

Obanai set off to another mission yesterday and it was yourself in your own habitat. Looking at a wall will surely kill some time, there was nothing in you could hear, nothing in your mind but a sound of clock ticking. Your made-up clock rang inside of your head, you stood up, grabbing ink and paper and wrote something for your beloved

After four days, he should have gotten the letter but there was no message from him at all. It made you worried, but those worries disappeared in a second as you saw the man himself walking towards your house from your window.

Now you're scared but you put enough confidence to greet him by the porch. "I-Iguro-san, why are you here?" You said, acting as if you never sent a love letter. "Obanai.. call me Obanai from now on" He replied, showing you a pieace of paper.

It wad your letter! He seemed to be smiling under his mask.
"Oh.. um.. well, do y-you.. you don't have to an-answer the letter but I would.. uh.." You stuttered a bit nervous that you'd finally get the acceptance you're waiting for come out of his mouth

"I love you aswell" He confessed kissing your hand softly. You felt as if you were about to cry and hugged him tight

"You could have send a letter!"

"But I wanna tell you in person"

"You made me worried though!"
