Ah—yes, those sweet dubious lies that always bring us down to sunshine when were only happy.
It's only true when we're living those suger-covered youth.
It's only a lie when we're living those blood-splattered fight

Injuring Muzan is an understatement. But is someone willing to throw their life away for an immortal?

"Y/N, Stay back, you're injured
Get Yushiro!"

"I can't leave you all alone fighting him—!"

As much as the female demon slayer wanted to participate in the life-and-death battle, her lover didn't allow her to. It was a high risk everyone had to take. Many lives had been taken and Obanai was not about to let Y/N lose hers, It's way to precious to lose he says. Motivation kept him moving on his feet, swinging his arms swiftly because he had someone to fight for and Y/N does too.

With desperation, Y/N tried to stand on her two feet but her legs felt stiff yet proceeded despite the injuries; Hence the stinging pain while doing so

Obanai was at his limit but he won't stop, he can't. Rest now and lose everybody else because of your own idleness. He panted heavily, even getting his sword to turn red wasn't enough, he felt weak, Obanai's inability to block Muzans attack and Y/Ns stubbornness mixed together was indeed not a good combination which led to this predicament.

The statement thrown out earlier;
Obanais inability to block Muzans attack Muzan was about to launch at him and he knew it. Due to Muzans long range and simultaneous attack got Obanai separated from the eathers which means none of them can save him at that point

Y/N cut through Muzans tentacle but her loosed wrist said otherwise 'causing her sword to break apart into two pieces and receive the damage instead

It all happened in a speed of sound. Her body was paralyzed, no, half of her body was out of commission which suggests that her sword was not the only was that was cut into two but her body aswell, the only thing she could move was her eyelids yet it gave no help at all. Her eyes dizzily roamed around the now blury areas, she felt deaf  but she only made out Obanai's ignited cries

"We'll meet again in a more peaceful place"

Years streamed down like a raging waterfall up a hill. Over a millenium of waiting to tussle themselves to each others arms was futile. It's like the God in the heavens disapproved of the idea to get them together again after such a heart breaking event and watched the pair miserably try to find one another.

It was outstanding to watch them look for the other with inflamed sultry interpreted in only their eyes. Their love is strong, regardless of the gods refusal.

"Maybe it's faith?"

No, it's not, the creator created the earth and designed it with good habitat for different species but how did a demon got into the list? Whoever is out there had controlled everything yet why even her and his lives too?

Y/N's eyes sparkled as drops of what seems to be tears slide down her puffed cheeks as she loitered infront of him. Obanai shifted his right foot upfront then his left then he repeated the process, drawing close to his beloved he suffered waiting for.

Extending his arms, her reddened cheeks enclosed with tears, gently brushed by Obanais hand. Oh, how much they missed each other for the past thousand years. Afterlife after another was spiritually exhausting, nevertheless they cherished the time they only have together with sweet words.

Grievously, this is their spirits final life cycle. Their rapacious souls story ends here

"I' stay with you now, no matter what"

"Likewise, we'll be here forever"

Those sweet dubious lies has it's final whisper
