Prologue

The Words of The Goddess In the beginning hundreds of years ago when the world of Karr was formed from the elements around it. The goddess used these elements to start this world blossoming along with everything in it. The core elements that make up the world, the wind, water, earth, and fire would not just create a planet, but the people in this world would be imbued with the magic that has formed from all that you can see, but in like every world there's good and evil, heroes and villains, and most of all light and dark is part of this world, part of each and every one of the goddess children. After the Goddess stayed for a generation with the elementals, she made in the world she created she had to leave because that is the rules the gods and goddesses agree to do. This Goddess loves Karr and want it to stay the way she created it, but when the King did what he did and poisoned the magic that touches all magical things, elementals and even the world itself. The goddess broke her rule and made a failsafe that has prophecies that can show glimpses of the future to help those who want to save Karr without destroying Karr at the same time. There are villages for each elemental magic, and they have always lived peacefully, until one village became a kingdom. That kingdom and the king held more power than most people have seen in years, but yet he still craves more of it. The king was willing to do anything right or wrong, good or evil to create the world in his image. He was convinced he was not just the next savior, but the next god to lead this world, and either you join him, or you would die so he could make a better world, his world. Karr was made up of villages and the elementals that lived in each, there was no hate between the elementals or the villages, and everyone just kept to themselves, and lived in the world the goddess created for them. Where you live all depended on which village you were born into that is your elemental home. Even those with different elemental magic can be from the same tribe for if you were born in a small water village but carried other elemental magic you were still a water element. The goddess hopes there will be a soul that is worthy of the magic she can bestow upon them. She hopes to find the one to keep peace that they will use their self as a being of change. The one to restore order in her once beautiful world she created. Even though hundreds of years ago leads into the present, and the world is in complete chaos and no goddess or elemental that is worthy of the goddess magic being bestowed upon them to help save magic, save the elementals, and to save Karr, but yet there have not been a elemental that is deserving of that power seen in generations. In most places the magic is bloomed and the moment you can glimpse the sun under the crystal blue sky with your feet in the lush carpet grass. You remember the stories of what this world once was and parts of the world that still is. That beauty and magic that ran through every part of us, every part of this world was still amazing, but yet a lot of the old magic was gone, and the people were lost and searching for what was. Some of the goddess's children believe and hope that she was going to choose an elemental to lead them and they can watch this land that is dying once again live with magic and the people thrive with in it. What gave her people hope was when word from the Stone Temple started to spread throughout the village's, the Kingdom, and the elementals. They had hope once again in the most powerful Stone People and the seer that lives in the Temple. That their visions of the future will come was true and the magic and the goddess will heal their world and it will become what it once was long ago. There was a prophecy once that was told by that seer all that long time ago, at the Stone Temple, that says someone who is powerful and can bring peace back to Karr. Even though most people have never seen the stone people, it was announced that there was a prophecy about a new savior and what events will lead to the person being chosen, and how you will know who this person will be. She proclaimed the event that would coincides with the finding of the savior of our magic, and of our past. The prophecy was said to have certain milestones to cross to prove that they are true enough to be the bringer of peace, the bringer of old magic. The person will have to prove to themselves and the world that they are meant to be the one who saves it and lead the people who are now lost. Their heart needs to be true and full of love, and when in need pull darkness out of the shadows and allow him to be your friend. Someone who can show that even within all darkness there is still light. An elemental being of every kind to freely pledge their life to the chosen one, and their honor to that elemental and in the fight to bring the peace and magic back to these now trouble lands. For the elemental has to be chosen not just by the goddess but also by her children. There has never been a war that touched Karr's land and their people, for the goddess taught them not to hate each other, but to live among each other. For generations her children lived the way she wanted. Then like everything as time goes on and brings new people and new ideas are formed and when the goddess no longer communed with her children, they become lost and confused. That can allow a person to use that fear to do very wonderful things or very evil ones. When generations slowly passed, people have hoped the prophecy would come true, for the elemental villages are fractionating and the Fire King along with the factions of the other villages are consuming power, magic, and land and won't be happy until the lord of fire and smoke consumes the world. As the world is crumbling and seems there's no stopping the chaos, death and war to come. This was more than just the way they lived and their freedom these coming times will lay the path that the world will follow and whether it can find all it has lost or lose the last of who Karr started out to be. The believers in the goddess pray for the new elemental to be born and the goddess's prophecy says that the elemental can bring peace, love and healing to a dying world with fading magic.
