*knock knock.*
"Ace, Carina is here to see you.", Abele, who was guarding the door, called out to me. I stared at the door, my eyes wide with fear. "Uhm, just a second. Tell her I'm, uh, getting dressed.", I said hesitantly. "It's not like I haven't seen her naked before.", I heard Carina tell him as she walked in.
"Your maid of honour has arrived!", she announced, dramatically flipping her hair. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw all the blood staining my white chiffon dress.
"Grace! Who's blood did you get on your wedding dress?!", she asked with an exasperated sigh. She immediately started looking around the room for a replacement. "The ceremony is in an hour and we don't even have a back up-"
I could practically hear the breath hitch in her throat when she saw him laying on the ground. She stood and stared at the scene in front of her for a while and I bit my lip, trying to read her expression.
"Oh no.", she finally said, her voice barely a whisper. "No, no, no.", she echoed, louder this time. "Grace, what did you do?" I stayed silent, the consequences of the situation at hand finally dawning on me.
"I just killed us all."

This is the final chapter of Wanted by the Mafia! I was only supposed to publish one but I decided to do the year jump in a seperate chapter because I'm dramatic like that *flips hair*
Today, 21 December 2019, marks exactly a year since I published the first chapter of this book. When I started writing it, I had no idea that I'd make it to 440k reads!!! {I'm literally getting emotional rn, but I'll just blame that on either my period or the sad songs I'm listening to rn :( }
So I know you're all wondering if there's gonna be a second book...well I have bad news. There unfortunately isn't :/
I'm totally kidding haha, OF COURSE I'M NOT ENDING THE SERIES LIKE THIS! I have no idea when the sequel will be published, but there will definitely be one.
The second book will be about the events that led up to this chapter and will take place a couple months after Antonio's death!
The title of the second book is The Mafia Queen, and can be found on my profile.
