With March came the sense of being done with the Triwizard Tournament for a while and being able to focus on other things. It was nice for Saffron to be able to spend more time with Lavender and Parvati again, as well as renewing her commitment with Dean through to the end of April for the time being, meaning they were going to 'dating' for four months at minimum which Saffron never in a million years would have anticipated evening a month earlier.
However, things always tied back to the Tournament as certain people were coming back to England after not being in the country for quite a while who wanted to speak specifically to Maya and Harry about everything. As a letter a week into March told them that Sage, Sirius and Noah were back.
Dear Maya, Saffron, Rachel, Rowan & Harry,
We hope the five of you are doing well. I've always hated writing letters seeing as I'm a much better talker in person, but I would like to let you know that myself, Sirius and Noah will be at the Hogs Head at two o'clock on Saturday.
It would be lovely to see you all there as I am sure there is so much to catch up on that we cannot put in writing.
Hope to see you then,
Lots of love,
Sage, Sirius & Noah.
"You can ask them about Snape if you want," Saffron said to Harry, showing him the letter that Maya and the twins had given her earlier on that morning. "Though, I'm sure they're going to have a lot more questions for you and Maya. I can hear their concern already, they'll probably tell you not to anything stupid which seems to be the advice that all adults give, as though it means something to us,"
Harry snorted. "Sounds good, maybe they'll have a better idea of who put my name in the Goblet in the first place,"
Saffron hadn't thought about that as much as she would have liked to. Things had just been going so well for Harry that you wouldn't have thought that he didn't volunteer for it. At fourteen, he was beating three seventeen-year-olds who were all better wizards than he was in terms of ability. One might think that the person who entered him into the tournament actually wanted him to win. Saffron was about to vocalise this to Harry but she was stopped from doing so by the female voice in her head.
The voice told her something else. It told her that she was going to be sick during the Hogsmeade trip and wouldn't get to meet up with Sirius and Sage. There was absolutely nothing Saffron could do about it due to the strength of the imperius curse that had been placed on her all those months ago.
"Definitely, but you might as well win it now," Saffron was forced to say.
Harry arched an eyebrow at her. "You'd want me to win over Maya,"
Saffron was then forced to nod. "You deserve it the most so I want you to do it,"
"I don't think that's true but thanks," replied Harry modestly with a small smile as the pair of them headed down to Potions with Hermione and Ron where something grim was awaiting them in the form of the pug-faced Pansy Parkinson parading a magazine around the place.
"There they are, there they are!" Pansy giggled gleefully clutching 'Witch Weekly'. If Saffron didn't know any better this was the outlet that Rita used to get back at Hermione. Hence, it came as no surprise when Pansy threw the magazine to her saying there was something that might interest her inside of it.
