IN THE FLESH - PART 3
~ Niki's POV ~
After my eyes met Nikki's I knew that it was basically over for me. But I knew that for a fact the second that I noticed him starting to walk my way.
I swallowed hard and anxiously stepped away from the drink table, hoping to get some sort of escape from him. I walked around a little, glancing behind me and noticing that he was definitely following me.
I spotted the door, the one that led out to the rest of the hotel and figured that it would be the best option to just get out of here. I grabbed the handle and ran off down the hallway, wanting to get away from everything that I had done tonight. Even though it was exactly what I wanted.
"Hey!" A voice called out from down the hallway once I neared the elevators.
I frantically hit the button, looking around for a sign of stairs that I could take instead, anything to get me away from him. I just wanted to escape and go back to who I used to be.
"Please don't go!" The voice shouted, I knew it was Nikki's.
"Nikki," I said lowly, the voice approaching me quickly, the elevator still not ready for me.
"Where are you going?" Nikki asked, suddenly right behind me. I slowly turned around to face him, a worried expression on his face. "I hope you aren't leaving because of me," he teased, knowing exactly why I was running away.
"Maybe not just you," I said.
"You get wrapped up with someone else tonight?" He asked, his tone growing flirtatious, but it remained teasing at the same time.
"Sorta," I said, biting my lip when I thought back to what Tommy and I had just gotten done doing together.
"Who was he?" Nikki wondered, crossing his arms.
"Uh," I paused, unsure if I should say anything. I didn't know how guys felt about sleeping with the same girl, good or bad. I didn't want to make them fight with each other, and I didn't really want to tell him anyway.
"Was it one of the guys from Guns n' Roses?" He wondered, smiling widely now.
"No," I said, chuckling a little bit now.
"C'mon, you can tell Nikki," Nikki said, smiling because he was talking about himself in the third person, and he thought he was hilarious for doing so.
Before I could explain it to him, or even say anything at all, another voice was trampling down the hallway.
"Babe!" It was Tommy.
"Fuck you! You're such an ass!" A woman's voice shouted back.
They were getting closer.
"Poor Tommy," Nikki noted as the two made their way over to where we were standing, in front of the elevator.
"Where are you going? Heather, c'mon," Tommy pleaded, his wife waiting in front of the elevator in the same way that I was just a minute ago.
"Anywhere away from you," Heather scoffed, suddenly hitting the elevator doors in frustration. "God, is this broken or what?" She demanded.
I couldn't help but let out a low chuckle, probably because the situation was so comedic. But also because I was still really drunk, which always made me giggle even more than usual.
"Oh my god," Heather said, suddenly turning to look right at me. "You're the girl, aren't you?" She asked, her face contorting into one of pure anger.
