《Unnecesary attention》

The 'couple' after a bickering session calmed down, they came to a mutual understanding (Roxie won) to treat others more respectfully, especially the Elite Four.

After trying to be polite, he got in another mess. .

- "I don't want to." (Frost)

- "Are you sure.. ? I promise it'll be 'fun'~ for both you and me~" (Caitlin)

- "Fun for you, I don't fight unnecesary battles–" (Frost)

{A thought flew by, 4-5 days ago. Fighting Rosa. }

- "Well, some I can let slide, but not this time." (Frost)

- "Hmm.. Meanie. . Hmph !" (Caitlin)

She's really trying her best. .

But it won't work.

- "Ignoring that, Professor Birch, you left these Pokeballs. Do be careful, next time we won't be able to save you again. ." (Frost)

With a brief and non-chalant tone he warned the Professor. . Afterall, these harmful situations are quite normal and common. .

The Professor nodded and with a nervous chuckle accepted his bag back.

- "Heh.. thank you, Frost. I'm sorry for causing trouble.. I'll make it up to you someday. Maybe you can come to Hoenn sometime- my daughter and I investigate Pokemon at the Hoenn region and we happen to run into a few phenomenoms, ah my daughter will also get her firat pokemon soon for her adventure–" (Prof. Birch)

- "Eehhh ? Really ? I'd like that, I'm curious, plus I have the Meg–" (Frost)

The Nerds now on their own world, started discussing different pokemon an what-not. . Meanwhile on the girl side.

- "Hey, hey~ Can I borrow your boyfriend to battle him ?" (Caitlin)

- "He–He's not my boyfriend ! We're friends ! That's all ! Sheesh.." (Roxie)

- "Oh ? Is that really the case then. . Maybe I'll steal him for myself then~" (Caitlin)

As those words came out Roxie was shocked, and as if being possesed by a ghost she strictly and swiftly said:

- "You can't— ! . . UH.. uhm.. wh-what I meant was, he's not interested in anybody. . So you can't. ." (Roxie)

Mumble and mumbles, how her sentence ended. Her words spoke, but her behaviour spoke volumes quite clearly even. On the other hand, the Elite four member was just smirking at her behaviour.

- " Ehehe~ " (Caitlin)

As if planned, Caitlin giggled at her response, and didn't push the subject further, after all, as a fellow lady there are some lines you shouldn't cross. Knowing from her own experience at least-

After dealing with the whole ordeal of Yamask and the Sigilyph, the small roundabout team of people left the dessert, arriving at the entrance/exit of Castelia and Nimbasa, in their respective order, and briefly stopped at the center of it.

Finally, taking off their goggles as well-

- "Well Professor, here we part ways. Me and Roxie are headed to Nimbasa. What are you going to do ?" (Frost)

At his question, the Professor just politely nodded and stated:

- "I'll head over to Juniper's. I already did what I came here for so I'll head over 'home' soon. I'll tell Juniper about the offer alright ?" (Prof. Birch)

Both men just nodded and shook their hands.

And the professor soon left. . Now it was down to two people. . Well, three if you include the minor nuisance.

- "So~ We're headed to Nimbasa city eh ?" (Caitlin)

- "By 'we' I sure hope you mean you and your Sigilyph. ." (Frost)

The comment carried exhaustion, he clearly wasn't happy to deal with her-

- "Aww, don't be so antisocial, It should be an honor for me to join you. I promise I won't cause you any trouble~ " (Caitlin)

She says that, but her just.. being here is already trouble.. Trainers are eye-ing her down to get a chance to battle and other people are glaring at Frost. . It's probably nothing. . He hopes at least.

- "Let's just go to Nimbasa, one person joining us can't be that bad !" (Roxie)

Roxie, unlike Frost seemed excited to have another person with them, especially an Elite four, what will she learn from this experience. . Maybe she'll even join the ranks one day. .

- "I cannot seem to understand your displeasure master. . Your emotions are contradicting eachother. . You feel displeasure yet nostalgic, why is it ?" (Kirlia)

Within the telepathy link, Kirlia asked, seemingly confused, looking back and forth between Caitlin and Frost.

- ". . . It's alright bud, let's just get on over to Nimbasa so we can have some fun okay ?" (Frost)

Unable to answer her question, especially near people he just gave Kirlia a pat on the head and made his way towards Nimbasa city, finally heading out of Castelia city once more.

- "Oh. . Right, what the hell is Serperiour Avenue ?" (Frost)
