《Double Trouble》
{This chapter will be portrayed in Roxie and Kirlia's point of views, right after Frost wandered off.}
The ultimate finisher went down, the pokemon on the stage performed admirably. Each of them having a unique personality trait and a specialized field.
- " Wow, that was stunning. Did you see the cute Piplup ? I think he winked at you Kirlia. " (Roxie)
The Gym leader teased the pokemon, and the pokemon didn't catch on, or couldn't really.
- " The Piplup ? Why is it ? Perhaps he wants a friend.." (Kirlia)
Kirlia, unable to properly communicate with Roxie just mumbled to herself, and Roxie unable to understand what she's saying only hears soft cries coming from the Pokemon.
- "Well, we should head out, right Fro.. Huh ? Where.. Frost ?" (Roxie)
Only just now, they noticed the disappearance of a certain someone.
Kirlia was the first to panic.
- "Master ?! Where is master ?" (Kirlia)
It would be the first time she felt panicked, Roxie, being the only one there just put a hand on Kirlia's head and rubbed it. Attempting to calm her down, which mostly worked.
- "There, there. He's probably just at the bathroom. Or just buying something. " (Roxie)
- "Oh ? You mean that youngster whose a foreigner ?" (???)
A woman suddenly intruded upon their conversation. Wearing only the most.. weird combination of clothing. But one look at them shows how expensive they are.
Top class, Incognito.. ?
- "If you are looking for them, the left the building long ago and wandered off. Should I assume he's this Kirlia's trainer ?" (???)
- "Uhhh... Yes ? I mean, he is Kirlia's trainer. Why are you so—" (Roxie)
And Roxie now got cut off. By the unknown woman.
- "I want it." (???)
- "Eh ? What, you want what ?" (Roxie)
- "The pokemon. I want it. He clearly left her be. So that means I can have her." (???)
- "Wha.. You can't just decide that. And he didn't leave us.. he went to go somewhere important." (Roxie)
Unable to comprehend such logic, Roxie even sounded skeptical.
Kirlia however, was just staring the unknwon woman down.
It's a rule imputted by Frost to not hurt other people, unless comanded.
So she's abiding by that rule, but if she pushes it this far.. a shackle can be broken.
- "Alright then. Battle me. I win, I get the Kirlia." (???)
- "I assume you back down until I win this then." (Roxie)
She was about to accept, but the woman pulled a sneaky one on her.
- "Your condition is to battle with her." (???)
- "I accept— Wait. Huh ?!" (Roxie)
And the match has been set.
{Minutes later. Now Frost would be talking with Colress— and Roxie is now preparing to battle.}
- "Are you ready ?" (Unknown woman)
- "I.. Are you sure Kirlia ?" (Roxie)
Roxie asked, undoubtly worried about this. But Kirlia didn't back down. She must prove that her master did not leave him.
A simple nod sufficed for her answer. Roxie just sighed and went with it. She probably won't do as good as Frost. But she's a Gym Leader, she'll manage.
- "Alright... Then, we're ready !" (Roxie)
- "The match will begin, Opponent, self named, Liza will challenge Virbank's Gym Leader Roxie. Match will begin in 5. . . 4. . . 3. . . 2. . .1. . ." (Computer AI)
The computer AI just announced her name, an alias, but it's still something.
Roxie and Kirlia just observed the enemy carefully, and she brought out a pokeball.
A great ball, what was so hard to catch that would need a great ball... ?
Liza threw the Great ball and when it opened, streaks of lighting or electricity rather, zapped around, and the figure was of a spider. It's name, was Galvantula.
- " Tch... a Bug type.. Alright Kirlia. Don't get too close. It may have one poison move, so beware. " (Roxie)
Roxie, being more knowledgeable about poison types, knew for a fact that Kirlia was basically a snack for poison types. And the fact that certain bugs can learn poison moves just makes it a hard battle.
- "Galvantula, don't hurt it too much. Go, Volt Tackle" (Liza)
The enemy Galvantula, using electricity as a boost, rushed Kirlia, and as adviced she used Teleport to dodge it, the minute it moved she moves. Ultimately putting both pokemon at a stalemate.
And Liza was the first to shine,
- "Galvantula, use Thunderbolt !" (Liza)
By using thunderbolt, it was a fast attack, that if you get too close to someone aflicted with the move, it'l bounce towards people and pokemon, and let's not forget about the chance it has on paralyzing opponents.
But Kirlia dodged.
Succesfully getting a chance.
- "Use Psyshock !" (Roxie)
And Roxie didn't waste it.
Knowing the only moved used in combat, she yelled it.
She could have used Psychic or Dazzling Gleam, but it won't exactly help the situation, plus, Fairy type won't be useful against bug or electric.
She learned that from Frost.
But she succesfully got a hit, chipping away 25% of the health bar shown above on the screen.
- "Huh. I guess it's trainer was capable. We musn't hold back then Galvantula." (Liza)
