Pokemon: The Misadventures in Unova

Chapter 29

《Take the stage》

The door to the backstage room opened, and 3 people and two pokemon entered.

Two of the three people wore idol-ish clothing. .

And to everybody's surprise, it was two Gym Leaders.

Former Gym Leader of Nimbasa city, Elesa and Former Gym Leader of Virbank city, Roxie. The former, wearing it's usual attire, but with more frills and extended sleeves, while the latter wore a innocently gothic attire. By innocently, it's covering a lot. Any more than that and it would have been a dress.

In any case, the two pokemon, were also stunning. . A Kirlia, a pokemon that's normally not even from this region and to top it off a different color hue than normal.. and a weird pokemon they've not seen before. . ?

It's highly likely from another region..

Their attire, seemed to match with each respective gym leader. The Kirlia with Roxie and the strange pokemon matching with the Stunning beauty, both earning the same title.

And the third person.. well. There's really nothing special about him. He's just wearing normal clothing, but the two pokemon are happily interacting with the young boy.

- "I get that you two are excited. But remember to not play too much, you'll waste energy that's useful to the performance.." (Frost)

- "Well, they can have this moment.. It's their first performance afterall. I'm pretty intoxicated myself. ." (Roxie)

Everybody turned to Roxie. . . Quite confused by her choice of words.

- "What ? . . . Ah! As in poison ! Not alcohol—" (Roxie)

She realized it a bit late. But thankfully it's cleared.

- "Well, ignoring that. Is everybody ready ? After these performers it'll be our turn. Is everybody ready ?" (Elesa)

Elesa spoke up, getting everyone's attention.

Once those words were finished, everyone nodded all of them donning a serious expression.. apart from the two pokemon.

Frost went over to sit down on a couch.. his role was to wait and watch the performance.. hopefully with no errors.

Meloetta and Kirlia came over towards him, Kirlia sat next to her master and Meloetta sat on his shoulder.

- "Master, Meloetta wants to say 'thank you'." (Kirlia)

And via the telepathic link, Kirlia portrayed Meloetta's message..

- "Well, you're welcome. . It must be a dream come true for you right ?" (Frost)

Meloetta just nodded and gently patted the back of his head.

- "Well, I do have a question Master. How do you know such designs of clothing.. it's pretty weird, yet stylish.." (Kirlia)

Frost chuckled and before he could explain–

- "Frost. We're up, let's go." (Elesa)

Huh... that might be the first time she's mentioned his name..

Kirlia just quickly hugged Frost and dashed towards Elesa, and the same with Meloetta. .

The scene reminded him of the past.. his sister was like this too.. before he disappeared that is.

{Meanwhile, in a bizarre cottage located in the coast of an Alolan island}

- "Bzzt, Professor ! We've recieved a glimpse signal from Rotom #778, it's him !" (Rotom Phone)
