How wonderful and monstrous

How freeing and resounding

How fantastic and scrutinising

Would it be to forget

Each day, everyday

To never have to dwell

On neither past nor future

But to live like each day was new

Due to the simple fact that it would be

That we would never be held back

Never expect, nor be expected of

And yet

How utterly terrible

How monstrously, numbingly,

Dull

Never once would you do anything meaningful

Never once would you know what to want

Never once would you be satisfied

And yet

With all it's constraints

With all it's losses of personality

It would be the most

Freeing

Liberating

And equalising

Thing that could ever happen

To the human race.
