(read 2 lines at a time)

The world shook as she stomped her feet

Oceans rose as tears rolled down her cheek

Thunder boomed as she screamed

Lightning struck every time she blinked

Lava spilled for every nosebleed

Fire caught as she fell to her knees

Wind howled as she breathed

Lungs burning like the trees

Rocks break loose from mountain tops

Caused only by a simple sneeze.

She held fate in her hand, and she squeezed

Dust fell from her fingertips and stuck in the sky

New light shown down during the night

Lovers turned their eyes to see above

Questioning the heavens about their love

And with nothing left for her to do,

She turned her head to the sky

And let out a mighty cry

For her burden had been lifted

The weight on her shoulders dissipated.

She had held the world in her hands,

And longed for such a relief

As it's precious fate to be set free.

Losing it to the sky

For there it shall reside

For desperate lovers to look to

And lost souls to follow

For as since that day

Fate has been sitting in the stars.
