"Damn!" Tak slammed her fist on her work desk. It just wasn't working. She still didn't have the proper tools to fix Mimi. She needed more parts, and she had to get them from Zim. Setting down her tools, she leaned back in her cheap office chair and sighed.
The clock on the wall read 2:15. Zim was probably still in school at this time. That would present an opportunity to Tak, but she needed to act immediately. She took the only weapon she had left, a small pocket knife, and slipped it into her boot for safe keeping. She checked the mirror briefly, making sure her unusual nature was well buried.
She donned her disguise, a hoodie and a mask. It was not perfect anymore, no longer a hologram, but it was, at the very least, better than Zim's. Then, she made her way out the door, carful to lock the apartment behind her.
Tak moved throughout the dingy city like a shadow, quick and unnoticed. She entered Zim's house with ease, G.I.R. was nowhere in sight to be seen, probably out buying tacos or dead, Tak did not really care where he was, so long as she could get in and get what she needed.
As Tak began to make her way deeper into the base, Zim's supercomputer greeted her with a sassy tone. "I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be here."
"Shut up computer." Responded Tak, knowing the lazy machine was no direct threat. She continued her way into the deepest part of the base and began searching for the parts that she needed to bring back Mimi.
