Betty's POV:

'So let me guess your not telling me where your taking me' I said facing him. 'Obviously not, love, always a surprise' he said smirking. 'wipe that smirk of your face, you know I'm only here because I have to' I laughed. 'Mhm but I'm using that time wisely' he said starting the car, placing his right hand on my leg sending chills through my body. 'So no hints or anything.' 'Nope' he replied. 'Ok so what if I flashed you would you just drop me home' I said and watched as he smirked at his thoughts. 'No, I'm shocked I turned that down but I still have an hour' 'damn really thought that would work for a perv like you' I laughed. I saw him laugh a little, but carried on driving in silence till we were there.

'So where exactly are we' I said as we got out the car and he led me up a hill. 'Well I thought this would be an amazing place to show you, I found it once while at in the woods for some odd reason and I've never shown anyone it' he said smiling. I look out and see the lights from the town, I saw pop's diner's sign but it was so small and the sunset was amazing 'wow! This is gorgeous jug, it's beautiful. Never thought I'd see someone like you watching a pink and orange sunset over the town' 'well I have many layers Cooper, come sit down I got a blanket that I always leave here that we can sit on' he said leading me to an old black and red picnic blanket. I pull out my phone and take a picture of the sunset and one with him, me and the sunset. Never thought I'd do that, but it was just in the moment. 'So Nancy drew I want to know more about you' jughead said turning to me. 'Well let me see,umm oh I grew up on the north side went to riverdale high had three best friends: Veronica, Kevin and Archie. Graduated. my cousin ran away haven't seen her since, left north side for south side but I still see Veronica and Kevin quite a lot actually. And yeh that's my life, moved in with Toni but I normally go out when she has people around' that was the most simplest explanation of my life. 'You?'I said straight after. 'Oh I grew up here went south side high, Toni is my best friend and yeh that's basically it and oh I'm a leader of a gang which you already know' Jug replied. 'I still can't believe I had to strip just to join' 'well it was a pleasurable sight for me' he said smirking and winked. 'No shit, probably why there's a giant drool patch on the floor in the bar.' I laughed. We talked for a while as we watched the sunset.
' what's the time' I ask searching for my phone. '8:01' I read out loud. 'Still got you for another 30 minutes' 'well can we at least go to pops for food' 'fine only if I get an extra 15 minutes because we got to drive there' 'deal as long as your paying.'I said back ,pointing. He laughed and nodded and we got back in the car.

We arrived at pops and sat in a booth that I seem to always use. 'Betty. Jughead. Haven't seen either of you in a while or ever in the same booth how are you' pops asked. I smiled and replied 'joining the serpents, and I finally got a job' 'be safe and so glad you got a job, you know your always welcome to work here if anything happens or you just need extra money'. 'Well hope you both stay happy anyway what do you want' 'my usual' me and jughead both say in unison. We looked at each other and I giggled. 'Ok I will be back in a minute with your meals' 'so what's your usual' I ask 'two burgers, large portion of fries and chocolate milkshake. You?' 'One burger small portion of fries and a vanilla milkshake.' 'It's crazy that I've been visiting your apartment for years and never seen you, I know you said you always go out but I come here most days and have never seen you, but you must be here often too if you have a usual' he blurted out. 'Never heard so many words come from your mouth, we probably come around different times'
I opened my mouth to say something back but I was froze in the spot when I saw someone walk through the doors that made my blood boil, but my arms shake. 'Betty. hello Betty. What are you doing' jughead laughed. I didn't say anything or move my eyes from the door. He turnt around and saw Chuck Clayton ,his hands in his pockets, his eyes scanning the diner till they met with mine he smirked and turnt his body and walked towards us, jughead turnt and asked 'whose he' my eyes began to water at the memories. 'Chuck Clayton' I said under my breathe not making eye contact with Jughead or Chuck. 'Betty Cooper is that you, long time no see, the last time I saw you was when I-' I cut him off, 'get the hell away from me' I growled through my teeth. 'You won't do anything to me so why should I' he spat back stepping closer. I stood up and was about to break his nose, but jughead stood up in front of me 'hey calm down I will take care of him just relax' he said softly. 'No let me go, I need to beat him up, I should of done it a long ass time ago' I said back trying to push pass. 'You dare and I'll do what I did before' chuck said glaring at me. 'Fuck off dude before I let her go and she will wrip you to shreds' Jughead said still facing me trying to get me to sit down. 'She won't lay a finger on me, she can't, she's already in deep with the police and I know her slutty ass is to scared to go prison' 'well I'm fucking not, fuck off before I make you' Jughead turnt and snapped back, 'try me' Chuck said smirking. With those words Jughead swung his arm back and punched him in the nose, so hard you could hear how it crunch and broke. 'what the hell, you psycho' chuck hissed as he got up from the floor covering his bloody nose running out the diner.

I ran to the bathroom where I hid in a stall crying.
