Midday
Betty's POV:

Me, Kev and V had planned a day out to go shopping so I had got dressed into some tight ripped jeans a Nike long sleeve top and serpent jacket, I put on my black dr martins. 'I'm going to head out' I said as I did up the laces. 'Where' jughead asked. 'I'm going shopping with Kevin and Veronica' i said grabbing my phone. 'Betty as your boyfriend I can't let you leave without me now the ghoulies are trying to find you' he said 'Well I'm going and no offense but I doubt you'll wanna go look for my new clothes' 'Mh yeh I'd rather you in no clothes' he smiled. 'I doubt you'd want me walking round the streets with no clothes' 'good point' he said grabbing his shoes and sliding them on. 'Seriously though Jug your not coming, I'm fine by myself also Kevin and V are coming' 'no offence but what are they going to. The most Veronica could do is hit them with her Chanel purse' he frowned. He is right, they have no idea how to actually hurt someone. 'You never know maybe Veronica takes self defense classes in her free time. Also I have a knife and I can beat someone up, you saw it yourself yesterday, I hurt that ghoulie before you showed up' I said putting the switch blade in my pocket. 'Betty not going to happen, come on' he said grabbing my hand and walking out the door and then walking down the stairs. 'Jughead I'll be fine' I said as I opened the door to Veronica's car that was parked outside my apartment. 'Elizabeth Cooper I refuse to leave your side till I know your one hundred percent safe' he said putting a hand on his heart. 'How'd you know my full name?' 'I have my ways' he said and then looked at Veronica. 'So Veronica I'm coming now because how much I hate shopping, bad people are trying to find Betty and I'm coming to make sure she's safe' he smiled sliding in the seat next to me. 'Fine Jug but you got to act like you want to be there or just walk behind us like a security guard' I said as he closed the door once he was in the car.

Few hours later

Veronica's POV:

Me, Betty and Kevin we're sitting down at a restaurant table whiles Jughead was ordering us food. 'So now your boy toy is gone, hows the serpent you met at the party Kev' I said smiling at him. 'He's very nice' he blushed. 'Nice. Is that the only description we get' Betty said. 'For now. Just think that it won't be that serious because I'm going back to Canada in two or three weeks' he said shrugging his shoulders. 'Or you could stay. You could stay at my apartment and if you need space I can go to Jug's' Betty smiled. 'I'm not ready to move back, maybe in a few years' he said with a faint smile. 'Anyway let's not kill the mood. Changing subject, how much I love gazing at your little hottie why is he here' Kevin asked looking at Betty. 'Oh, it's to do with the serpents and ghoulies. Basically they want to kidnap me or something to hurt jug instead of just hurting him' she shrugged. Me and Kevin looked at her with our eyebrows raised and mouth dropped. 'That's not safe' Kevin said. 'Good job he came otherwise if they showed you would of been screwed. Me and Kevin would be no help' I said. 'Yeh well I hope they leave me alone soon because I really can't deal with jughead being attached to me 24/7' she sighed. 'Why not I thought you guys were okay' I asked tapping the table with my nails. 'Yeh we are it's just we're so alike we'll end up pissing each other off' she moaned. 'Fair' I smiled and waved at jughead who was looking for our table.

Jughead's POV:

I walked over and placed the two trays on the table and handed out the food. 'What did I miss' I said sliding in the seat next to Betty. 'Nothing' she smiled.

Few hours later

We headed to the whyte wyrm once we dropped of all the shopping, 'so Kevin are you still staying at V's or are you coming to mine?' Betty asked as we walked in. 'Actually I'm staying at my old house, my dads out of town for a two weeks' Kevin responded. 'How long are you staying' I asked. 'Maybe another two or three weeks' 'how is Canada?' I asked. 'Cold, but nice at the Same time' he smiled. 'Are you ever going to come back to Riverdale permanently?' I asked. 'One day. Maybe' he shrugged. 'Why so many questions' Betty asked. 'Just curious' I replied.
