A few months later

Betty's POV:

I worked my ass of over the past months, I managed to pay off my fine though. Me and Jug have been together for a couple of months now, and we've had no drama since, it was nice. I usually stayed at mine and Toni's apartment during the week and on weekend I'd spend it at Jug's or sometimes he came to mine. It was Sunday around lunch and we were cuddled up in my bed, he was sound asleep. I turnt around and grabbed my phone and read the texts. I had a few miss calls from V, I grabbed my phone and rang her. 'Hey' my voice croaked. 'Morning B, how are you, why are you asleep so late' 'Veronica you do realise it's 11am on Sunday' 'well I was wondering if you wanted to meet at pops later' 'Yeh what about in an hour' 'see you then Betty' I hung up the phone and got out of bed and put my underwear on and put on a top, I went into the bathroom and washed my body in the shower, I got dressed, ate and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my phone and kissed jughead a temple 'bye sleepyhead' I smiled as he's still sound asleep.

At pops

When I walked in I looked around and saw a very excited raven head girl jumping from her seat I walked over and gave her a tight hug before we sat down. 'So what are you so excited about' I smirked, 'I'm just so excited to see you feels like forever ago since we hung out' 'Yeh the last time we saw each other was when you picked me up from the police' 'actually no it wasn't, I saw you at the drive in remember with that serpent hottie, how was that little date?' 'Wasn't really a date but it was a night of mixed emotions, that's the best way to say it' 'oh what happened? Did he do something? Do I need to kill him?' She said extremely fast 'woah no, it wasn't him, more chuck clayton payed me a visit here, but it's fine Jughead, the boy I was with, punched him, I think he broke his nose' I laughed. She giggled too and sighed with relief. 'So how are you' I smiled 'amazing, I actually really wanted to meet to say something that I know will make you scream of happiness' 'go on' I smiled clapping. 'I brought a ticket from Canada to here for Kevin, he's coming home for a bit' she beamed. The next hour or so we had both cried of excitement and laughed of joy, I missed these days.

Kevin visited riverdale quite a lot but he hasn't come within over a couple of months so I was super excited. We had been sitting there for a while now eating food, drinking milkshakes and obviously chatting. 'So V, how's Archie, how is your relationship too' 'I don't know actually, see we're having a little break as we've both been under a lot of stress with our jobs and all but we still talk just don't know when or if we're getting back together' she sighed. 'Oh Veronica, you will work it out I promise, you guys are perfect for each other, solemates' I said grabbing her hand. 'You think so' 'Mhm, he loves you V' ,she smiled at that. Pops bell rang and I looked over my shoulder and saw a worried jughead running up to our booth. 'Hey you okay Jug' I said looking at him. 'No you scared me I woke up and you were gone' he said scutching into the seat next to me. 'I went out to see Veronica' 'you didn't pick up your phone, and you didn't say bye' 'my phones turnt off and I kissed you bye but you were sleeping' Veronica smirked at me realising that me and Jughead were together. 'Well you really scared me, don't do it again' he pouted. 'I won't I promise' I smiled hugging him tightly. 'You turnt the tough leader of the serpents into a little softie' Veronica smiled 'well someone's got to keep this asshole in line' I smiled back patting jugs check. 'I'm not a softie, Betty's just precious to me' he said in response to Veronica. 'Mhm' she smirked back. 'What I've not gone soft, I'm not going to be a dick to my girlfriend am I' he said annoyed back at her. 'Okay okay. I believe you' she laughed, I laughed too and jughead rolled his eyes but smirked a little. 'Well I'm going to go to the bar so I'll see you ladies around' Jughead said standing up and winking and then walking off.

Few hours later

After pops Veronica and me went to the airport to collect Kevin from his flight. 'So where's he staying, yours? Mine? Hotel? His old house?' 'Ummm I don't know but my house is always open for him to stay at' Veronica shrugged. 'Same, he can take my bed or Toni's, I mean she's always at Cheryl's anyways now' I said back. 'Cheryl? As in your cousin? You never told me she came back, oh my god I'd die to see her again' Veronica beamed. 'Oh I completely forgot to tell you, but after we get Kev I'll bring you both to the bar to see her and meet my friends' I said back. She nodded her head and we continued searching the huge room for Kevin, when I saw his face I grabbed Veronica's hand while running and leading her to him. We both swang our arms around him not letting go. 'We missed you Kev so much' Veronica said. 'I missed my favorite girl's too' he smiled, we all let go and helped him with his bags leading him to the car. 'So how've you been' I asked smiling. 'Good actually but my job is causing so much stress I needed to see you guys soon' 'work is stress, I miss high school, although I do not miss the gossip and drama' Veronica said. 'Yeh I know right, and I was so different, I mean I was wearing baby pink and baby blue sweaters now I'm in leather' I smiled. 'Yeh your style went from cute to smoking hot and I like it' Kevin said. We got in the car and began to drive back 'where we going' Kevin asked curiously, 'well i thought you guys wouldn't mind coming to the bar to meet my other friends' I said 'what bar?' Kev responded 'oh Im a serpent now forgot to tell you' 'and she's got a hottie for a boyfriend' Veronica added making me blush. 'Oooo, why did you not tell me, let me see a picture' Kevin asked 'I haven't really told anyone' I said, I unlocked my phone and showed him a picture of the one I took from after our first date in the morning when he was cuddling up to me and then the one from the night of my initiation. 'why are non of the hot guys gay, I mean where can I find one of them' Kevin said pointing to the photo 'yeh well believe me he's very difficult to keep calm, he's got a low temper and sometimes a bit of an asshole but I love him for who he is' I said 'have you told him that' Veronica asked 'what?' 'I love you' Kevin said 'I love you too Kev' I joked. 'Guys it's not high school it's not as important' I sighed 'uh yeh it is' Veronica said. 'Well I don't know maybe I will maybe I won't, but then does he love me is the question' I said. 'There's only one way to find out Betts' Kevin said. Maybe he does maybe he doesn't.
